A trip to Applecross has been on my "to do" list for too many years to count and finally I made it! As a long-time visitor to Wester Ross and Skye, (over 60 years of visiting!) I've always wanted to do this trip and it certainly lived up to all my expectations. The welcome at the hotel was very warm,...

Fabulous friendly (are they from Yorkshire?) staff welcomed us in dripping wet from the rain outside - soaked through - it was like stepping into your granny's hoose! Nothing was a problem and great food atmosphere and ale waiting for us...so...if your feeling alone and washed out on the peninsula - go to the Applecross Inn to get back to...

I was touring Scotland on the NC500 and, of course, you have to include the Applecross Pass. On the other side of the pass right down by the Loch is Applecross and it's pub, the Applecross Inn. There has been some poor reviews on this place, to the point I wasn't going to bother, but I was hungry and it...

So isolated that you have to make the effort to get here. Wonderful pub, great atmosphere, we visited with our 3 young children as we were staying at the nearby campsite. Food was great, usual good selection of drinks, child friendly, a place you can easily spend the hours chatting to strangers and just relaxing. I wish it was my...

We stopped here after making the drive from Inverness. The service was spot on and food very good great place to stop after braving the Bealach na Ba. Good options for children and nice beer. No complaints.

The inn is very different from last nights hotel but as we had been here last year we were delighted to be back. Our room was small but had a view to die for and a lovely comfy bed . Everyone is very friendly and it is lovely sitting in the bar mixing with locals and other holiday makers. The...

You'll have a very good selection of fresh caught seafood, lots of meat plates, dessert, etc. The selection of local spirits (whisky, gin, beer) is also amazong and the staff as well as the locals will...

A very comfortable stay. The staff are very friendly. The food is delicious, particularly the seafood dishes, although breakfast was great too. The inn reserve tables automatically for residents, but if you are going just for an evening meal you should reserve a table. Perhaps slightly annoying was the noise that came from the room above. It can't be helped...
