My husband and I stayed for one night on the last night of our north of scotland tour. Arrived about 3.30 but still able to get a snack as they serve soup and sandwiches all afternoon. Sat outside overlooking the gardens as it was a lovely day. Walked around the very creative 'fairy and scary' trails. We had a large,...

From the very second you arrive you are made welcome and made to feel special. From Stuart, the owner and Chris the GM, and every member of staff they exude top class service. The food was first class and as good as any number of celebrity chef's establishments that we have visited. Great produce, well prepared, first rate presentation and...

We stayed as a couple and enjoyed our stay. The bar is cosy. The available lounges are comfortable, the bed comfortable. We liked the staff who genuinely are very good at their customer service. There are walks from the door, a good train trip to the West Coast with a station 10 minutes away. The trip follows a wonderful route....

Stayed with my husband two nights to celebrate his birthday. Loved it! Great food lovingly prepared in beautifully restored classical surroundings. Fabulous octagonal dining room. Cosy well priced bar for pre dinner refreshments with the best olives in the area. Views extended to excellent garden views with mature graceful trees and gardens. Outdoor seating for sunny afternoons. Staff friendly but...

Thoroughly recommend Coul House Hotel, great food, grounds and service. The staff were extremely helpful and we had a delicious dinner and breakfast. Our room was small, but clean and sheets and towels were of a lovely quality.
