We called in for lunch after visiting the Hugh Miller museum. The pub menu was long and varied but we chose crab salad which was really very good and it came with fat boy chips which we had not asked for - but we did have a few. There was a wide selection of beers available and the place had...

Lets be honest - you wouldn't travel the whole length of the country to come here for the food. Its good honest standard British pub food. But you come here for the atmosphere, the village and the staff - who were great. For me I would be happy cycling here and enjoying a good nosh any time. Cromarty itself is...

Soup and sandwiches served on Christmas day. Super friendly couple running the bar and full of local knowledge. Very palatable Black Isle real ale. Lovely fire and the kids were given a selection box as we left.

Popped in for lunch, The Pub has great staff who are really friendly and welcoming. The menu had many old favourites on. We both chose haddock in batter and chips. To be honest i was astounded by the quality, it was excellent, i have had fish and chips all over and this was without doubt the best batter ever, dry,...

A very nice traditional pub, quiet atmosphere, and really good choice of traditional, home-cooked meals. We had lasagne, and macaroni cheese, but there were several specials too in addition to other pub-grub. Salads were fresh and tasty and huge portions of everything! Not fine dining, but really good, wholesome food, exactly what we were looking for. Serving meals till 9pm.

We didn't stay, only popped in for a quick bite before our boat trip. They start serving food at 12 and we turned up at 12 on the dot and nothing was a bother. Our order was taken promptly and our food was served quickly. I ordered the veggie burger and chips which was very basic but it was nice...

I spent 4 nights staying in the Cromarty Arms in August. I had a lovely double room which had been recently and tastefully decorated opposite the beautiful Georgian Courthouse building. The gentle chimes of the clock every hour from 7am were an absolute delight! The room was very clean and well equipped with tea/coffee making and TV. The shower room...

Glad to get seats outside with our two dogs and then inside too, as the sun hid. Lunch was good value and my first time having Scottish langoustines!! Good place to meet visitors from around Europe. Local real ales were very refreshing.

I and my wife and 2 children were starving after climbing up the south Souter. First place to eat on the way back was the Cromarty Arms Inn. I ordered a burger and chips. I was disappointed as the chips were soaked in oil and the burger was obviously deep fried also. We won't be returning. The good thing about...
