We have stayed in the Crerar hotel in Otley, Leeds; and as we were working locally in Dingwall decided to book into the Ben Wyvis Hotel, expecting the same standards in accommodation and food. We were very disappointed.

Great hotel grounds with a beautiful entrance, also great location with good sightseeing and easy parking. . Old facilities building, that makes it not the best hotel. Friendly reception area and nice restaurant service, very good cook.
We arrived here at 15:20 after travelling for over 6 hours. We were quite weary and looking forward to having afternoon tea which was advertised on the hotel website (a cake, sandwich and scone.) I asked the receptionist if we could have this and she...More

Stayed for 1 night. Reception staff welcoming but not entirely efficient.

When we visited the deal was bed and breakfast, but on arrival we asked about dinner in the hotel and the receptionist gave us the same deal we would have got had we booked for DB&B. A phone call would be the way to go as staff are all very willing to make your stay perfect. The dinner menu had three choices for each course and was well cooked and delivered by helpful staff on hot plates.
