My partner and I fancied this after having toured the distillery and were not disappointed. We chose a evening meal and the menu has plenty of quality choice and at reasonable prices. There is also a £9195 two course deal which is evening cheaper which we opted for and with drinks came to under £50. The meals were top quality,...

A very good place to stay to see Tain, Dornoch and surrounding areas - Glenmorangie distillery. Staff very helpful and friendly, especially Jade! Lovely comfortable room overlooking Dornoch Firth. Excellent dinner at Mansfield Castle - sister Hotel. A must for next time!

We chose this hotel primarily because it is dog friendly, it is also in a good location for exploring the northern Highlands, Dornoch is only 10 minutes away. We were allocated room one, which is a decent size with good views. The furnishings and bathroom fittings are pretty dated but sufficient, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was basically...

We were staying at their sister hotel but came to the Morangie for a meal on Sunday. Great selection of food, large portions and good quality. The Staff at both hotels 'make' the experience of our stay. Would recommend. Victorian decor and original features are lovely.

Popped in for a wee drink and staff so lovely decided to stay for lunch. I had Cajun burger and it was superb also liked the extra sauce served on the side. Friend had Thai curry and boys both had scampi and all thoroughly enjoyed by all. Definitely return.

The room was very comfortable , well equipped and clean if a little dated in it's décor. Breakfast was excellent with table service after helping one's self to a starter from the buffer. Evening meals can be taken in either the restaurant or the cosy bar. It was a delight to have damask table cloths and serviettes instead of the...

We stayed on a room deal which was good value for money but would think twice...
