We are two couples touring Wester Ross and had read many positives about the Torridon property. So we had high expectations upon arrival. The rooms were nice and well-appointed. The pub had a decent menu for dinner and the breakfasts met expectations. What was lacking a bit was the service. The wait staff was overwhelmed a couple of nights we...

Thanks for your review and sorry we came just short of the mark. Some evenings the demand at The Inn is very high for food and we will be busy. That will mean the staff are pushed to their limits, but we do try and manage this which people will understand is difficult to predict. Regards, Dan

We had good expectations of our night's B and B at the Torridon Inn but came away feeling very disappointed.. The room was spacious with superking sized bed which gave us a good night's sleep. I was also pleased to discover that the ensuite, had a bath as well as shower. However three times my husband had to walk across...

Dear Mr & Mrs Ogden We are truly sorry that you did not enjoy your experience. Glad to hear that a few of the things that were wrong were quickly sorted; Bulbs can blow at anytime, The TV does work and Alastair demonstrated how to use, the wifi password is displayed at reception on check in and I have asked...

After a long hike in the mountains, there is nothing better than popping into a pub restauraunt for some well deserved food. Service here was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. There was plenty of space to get us all squezzed round the table, and we had a great time here.

As you drive up to this hotel you wonder if you have accidentally booked into a youth hostel but don't be deceived, the rooms are great and the food is excellent. Only one minor proviso - try not to book a room on the ground floor if there are heavy people above. We spend the night under a pair of...

We have stayed at The Torridon many times over the years. The location is stunning and, happily, that never changes. However, on our last visit, a couple of years ago, both the food and the service were not up to speed at all. The food was good, but not great, and the service was really not good. But we went...

Stayed in the Torridon Inn for a night whilst doing the NC500. Really friendly staff, great room and the best breakfast on our tour. It's a bit remote from the village but the views more than make up for it!

Given that this is linked to the luxury Torridon hotel with its 3 rosette restaurant, we had arrived with high expectations but left wishing we had gone elsewhere for this, our second night on our North Coast 500 holiday. Our room was fine. Good size, nicely furnished, clean and well maintained with a well equipped en-suite bathroom. There was only...

Sorry you did not enjoy your meal. The pub offering at the Torridon Inn is supposed to be a totally different contrast to what is available at the hotel 3 rosette restaurant. I would suggest that had you eaten at our fine dining restaurant you would have been inspired and perhaps enjoyed yourself more. The waitress did make an error...

Stayed here for first night of NC500 break. Welcoming manager Alistair sorted a few small room issues in a friendly no efficient way. Rooms very comfortable albeit unusually high beds. Dinner and breakfast both very good. The highlight of this place however is it's setting on the shores of Upper Loch Torridon with its mountains in the background. We had...
