We visited this restaurant for a meal. The food was exceptionally good. I love pies and the steak and ale pie here was probably the best pie I have ever had. The pastry was true melt in the mouth quality. The meat was superbly tender and the gravy was thick and so full of flavour. The meal came with a...

A spur of the moment weekend away for 2 nights turned into an amazing and relaxing weekend. The hotel is situated on the Ayrshire coast with amazing views and a quiet location. Although close to the main road, it was an idyllic place to relax and enjoy the countryside setting. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. The room was lovely...

The room was beautifully clean and warm. Fresh decor and excellent facilities. The beds and pillows were soft and comfortable. So nice after a long journey on a cold night. The staff were friendly and helpful and dinner was delicious. I would strongly recommend this hotel situated right next to the sea in lovely Ayershire.

Really need a few days to enjoy this place. Will stay longer next time. Staff are very nice. Only negative is that it's quite pricey and would be nice to see some offers. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Lovely location

Lovely clean rooms, beds very comfortable. Able to accommodate our large group of varied ages. All staff very helpful and friendly. Food very good with great choices and all cooked fresh. Just across (busy) road to the beach. Would be lovely in better weather but a good beach in January all the same!

My friend and I stayed at Woodland Bay for 5 nights in December 2016. The rooms were well equipped, clean and warm. The restaurant food was of a good standard and the breakfast was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel, but early booking is advisable as they were always busy.

I stayed here for one night when I was the in area for work, the room number 4 was massive, it was lovely and warm, a bit too warm but not complaining. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was great, big, and looked new. Tea and coffee in the room and there's a bar/ restaurant open across the courtyard....

Once again welcomed back and shown our room. As expected warm, well presented and ideal for our two night stay. Dinner on both nights excellent with generous portions. You know it's good when there are regulars in for dinner. Breakfast was again superb with so much choice and availability. Nothing is too much trouble from any of the staff who...
