We stayed here the night before catching the first ferry and it couldn't have been better. Lovely staff who looked after us really well, delicious pub supper, well poured Guinness, very comfortable room. After supper, sitting in front of the lovely woodburner, Amy asked us if the dogs liked sausages?? So they got fed free too! I just wish every...

We popped in for a soup and a beer whilst waiting for the ferry. It was a cold and rainy day and we opened the door to a roaring fire, warm welcome and some good food. Within about ten minutes we felt at home and were debating whether to stay the night and catch the morning ferry instead. Great fire,...

Stumbled across this pub one bleak wet afternoon before getting the ferry back to Oban. We had been hoping to find somewhere warm and cosy, with good food and friendly service, where we could play cards by the fire and wait for the ferry. The Craignure Inn fit all our requirements and then some... In fact, I'd say it was...

We went to the Craignure Inn for lunch. We were shown to the dining room and the room was freezing. We sat down and ordered and paid for 2 starters, we did not go for a main course as we would have probably frozen to the chair! We spoke to the lad that was on the bar regards the lack...

when we first arrived on a Sunday lunchtime we thought this would be fantastic - very traditional with real fire. However the service was really bad with only one unenthusiastic person behind the bar. It took ages to get served even although the place wasn't that busy and we were eventually only served 3 out of 4 meals and had...

First night Diana had a haggis dish and I had venison on the second night Diana had venison and I had stake and ale pie all very very good. The only drawback they had no cask beer but they had Tobermory bottled...

Called in after a long day to Iona, the bar was lovely and cosy sadly due to antiquated Scottish licensing laws kids aren't allowed in there, families have to sit in a cold brightly lit sterile side room, luckily the food made up for it, nothing fancy but really tasty, come on Craignure make family's feel more welcome and we'll...

We stopped off here with the intention of having lunch.40 minutes after ordering our soup arrived. It was tasteless and luke warm. We were of the opinion it was out of a tin and had then been watered down. We cancelled the rest of lunch and left. The bar is very dingy and in need of re-furrbishment. Avoid.

Called in late afternoon for an early dinner. The fish and chips were spot on , fish cooked to perfection. I would recommend this pub to anyone , for the service, quality of food and staff are very helpful.

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Bar had a cosy, warm and lively atmosphere. Lots of options on the menu, including for vegetarians, so dinner was really good, as was breakfast. Room was comfy with a lovely view over the sea. Handy parking right outside, a good base for arriving straight off the ferry and exploring down to Fionnphort and...
