We stopped here in mid December for an evening meal. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed home made steak and kidney pie: the best I've ever tasted! A lovely toasty fire - end to a perfect day.

Called in on a very wet highland day hoping to find some lunch. Upon approaching the bar I was very brusquely told that dogs were not allowed. I thus departed and found myself a more welcoming hostelry

My friend and I ate as we were staying in a b & b just up the road. They have a varied menu and a specials board. The fresh venison burger was delicious. We ate there 3 out of 4 evenings and on the second visit I was pleasantly surprised that the barman remembered us.

Second time I have stayed at this hotel. Previously I had found it extremely friendly, comfortable and very reasonably priced. It was the same this time, my room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom a decent size.I had a wonderful view of the sound of Mull. Okay, the decor and furniture may not be in the latest...

Visited here for dinner as we were staying down the road and it was the closest place. As soon as we walked in, we knew we should have went elsewhere. We were seated in the bar which was something from the 70's. The menu had lots of choice however we decided to opt for the special. When it came it...

Large room with a great view, comfortable bed and all clean but very dated decor and peeling wallpaper with a cramped bathroom. Breakfast was served in a large dining room and was basic but well cooked & efficiently served. Extensive menu served in the lounge bar. Public bar lively but otherwise very quiet and lacking in any atmosphere.

Outside needs some attention, extremely shabby. Inside clean. Polite attentive staff. Serves food all day and bar meals to non residents. A good range of choice. Meal ok for the cost but would not return.

We called for lunch and the menu, quality and value were excellent. Lots of pasta and pizza dishes with a good selection of traditional dishes. Friendly staff with good local knowledge. Lots of GLUTON FREE options. Good level wheelchair access. Our first visit but not our last.

Tired and outdated rooms, everything in it was cheap and nasty. Breakfast was very greasy, a classic bad full English breakfast. Very expensive for what it is, a prime example of everything that is wrong with the Scottish highland hotel industry. Over priced, low quality in every regard!
