This hotel is over priced. £165 for a room no better than a youth hostel, grubby, mouldy and uncomfortable. Honeymoon on mull. All of our accommodation was beautiful bar this one. The view might be lovely however this hotel needs serious upgrade. Bed uncomfortable and pillows like a lumpy cushion Staff are lovely however the management need to get their act together. No breakfast after paying £165, I don’t feel this is acceptable. I do not recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. Yes, the room was up in the eves, as someone else has written, but it wasn't too much of a problem to us, although getting in and out of the shower was a bit of an event, because of it. But it's a very old building., so what else would you expect? The staff were very good and so was the food. Breakfast, particularly, was excellent and we would highly recommend the home-made yogurt. After our first night, we had an early start as we were heading for Iona, so they provided us with a pack-up for breakfast. That was very nice, too.

Stayed one night B&B for our wedding anniversary. Was expecting amazing hotel at £195. Very disappointed. Small room, leaking shower, no privacy blind in bathroom. Poor breakfast choice had the smallest croissants I've ever seen.

Quirky setting, several old fisherman's cottages knocked together, interesting angles inside and finishing touches to décor were wonderful. Breakfast and dinner was plentiful, varied and very tasty. We would recommend the whitebait.

The reasons I am giving an average score are the following: -the room was in the eaves of the hotel which meant had to be very careful not to bash your head when getting out of bed and in bathroom. No wardrobe or clothes hanging facilities except for couple of hooks on back of door. No chair in the room. Heated rowel rail did not work, nor did the internet, reported both but no action was taken and nothing changed. Otherwise I would say this hotel is very good. The restaurant is very good, good food, excellent staff throughout the hotel, only decent bar in Tobermory and from what we saw is probably best hotel. All hotels in the area seem overpriced at the moment compared to other places we have stayed we would have expected more for our money.
