Firstly this review is 100% genuine. I have been here recently and had a very nice room with a comfortable double bed and lovely modern bathroom. The room looked like it had been upgraded lately. The hotel reception and hallways seem a little tired and maybe could do with some upgrading but in general the hotel was fine. The wifi in the...

We went out of season and stayed in superior room which was lovely! The lady from another hotel down the road who did breakfast was super- food great, would go again but closer to peak season as bar wasn't open and house keeping didn't do our room

My 2 Star rating is a gift. The staff was very nice, especially considering they seemed overworked. They did a lot of multi-tasking. Most times there was no one in Reception. The room was big enough and included a sitting area. There was no hot water available in the shower -barely lukewarm. BIG problem for us!! We reported it but...

Broadford is not the most charming place on Skye. Neither is the hotel. But the staff was friendly and smiling towards us. Room was average, but spacious. Breakfast was good and gave a range of options to choose from in the menu. The hotel boasts about being the start of the Drambuie whisky liqueur. Even though this is showcased and...

We stayed at this Hotel as part of a tour of the Islands. It's central position is useful as is it's proximity to the bridge from the mainland. Our room (no 35) was large with a generous sized bathroom but the furniture seemed to be located in the wrong place (perhaps a personal fad!). The biggest problem was the location....

My room was very spacious with a spotless modern bathroom and looked as though it was recently decorated. The entrance area and stairway maybe need a bit of updated decor but otherwise everything was comfortable and well maintained. The hotel is in the small town of Broadford so its's an easy walk to cafes, shops etc and well placed for...

I had booked the Broadford hotel for a long weekend in Skye to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I was called this morning, 15 mins before I was due to leave for Skye which is a 5 hour drive away to be told that due to human error my reservation was cancelled. The hotel is sold out to as there is...

The hotel is well located and the rooms are spacious by UK standards. Breakfast is also good (although (unless you like this sort of thing), it is probably best to steer clear of the artery-clogging Scottish breakfast). However, one thing that is absolutely unforgivable is the problem that the hotel has with water in the bathroom. For some reason that...

We called in for dinner with 8 of us, and no booking. The staff were accommodating, and looked after us. In fact the two waitresses, 18 and 20, and the manager were all simply superb. Wonderful food, great atmosphere, one of the waitresses taught us about 'Cheeky Vimtos', and all was simply Brill!
