Stayed with my daughter in twin room 1. Reasonably priced, very central, clean, comfy beds, warm room with radiator you can control, good breakfast, with nice choices ( veggie sausage would be a welcome addition, but there was plenty of other ingredients that were suitable) and very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again and recommend Good tip from other...

Excellent place to stay. I come over through my work and I love staying here. I'm well looked after and the rooms are comfortable. The staff are very welcoming and obliging. Parking is the only downside. Be able to manoeuvre in tight spaces!

We went round the town looking for the car park which is unmarked after going up the 2 flights of stairs we were told the access for the car park is behind the coop supermarket. When parked it is only up 8 stairs and you are on the level of reception. The room and bathroom were clean and for the...

My tour booked this place for me and I was very concerned by lack of selection of "Bed and Breakfast." However, to my surprise, this is a very nice hotel and staff were pleasant as well. The breakfast was great and cook to order. This is a small town, so don't expect 5 star hotels. I highly recommend this clean...

I stayed here at the end of a two week tour of Scotland. I was booked for two nights but my plans changed and I needed to get back to Edinburgh earlier than planned. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, helping me to find bus and train times and to contact my tour group. I wasn't charged for the...

Super comfy room, clean, with a view. Free parking (which from what we saw was a must) centrally located, great breakfast and the best shower in Scotland (imho). Doesn't look like much from the outside but a little gem!

Was booked into this hotel by my employer and was dreading it. Had images of a place full to the brim of coach loads of holiday makers and of a dull, faulty towers kind of place. Imagine my surprise when all of this proved to be untrue! I was greeted my the friendly and helpful manager and had a clean...

What a great find. There is just a sign at a doorway on the street saying rooms available. I went up the stairway to reception thinking I might as well check it out. The lady at reception was very pleasant and I was shown an excellent room. The room was very clean with lots of space. Big telly, coffee tea...

A wonderful hotel run by a super friendly family who'll go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast is also great. So much choice, from fresh fruit and yogurt to porridge to poached eggs and haggis. Highly recommend!
