We had a very nice time at this establishment. Very nice rooms. Comfortable and clean. Wonderful and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast. Would recommend if you have some time to check out the beautiful scenery.

We stayed two nights and very much enjoyed our stay. The Duisdale Hotel is very well located on the Isle of Skye, especially if you have driven a fairly long distance to get there. It is not far from the Skye Bridge and only takes about 20 minutes to get there once you've driven over the bridge. You can unexpectedly...

Boutique Hotel springs to mind when thinking of this hotel. A lot of time was put into the décor and furnishings, not so much on the service and the management. Over all the stay was average, room was nice and service was slow, overpriced for what it is.

On arrival we were barely able to get our suitcases through the tiny front door. Smokers were hanging around the entrance and no staff around to greet or assist. Eventually the receptionist appeared and said someone would collect our luggage and bring it to the room. 20 minutes later the luggage still hadn't arrived. We went down to the reception...

We stayed in this hotel during our touring trip of Scotland. The hotel looks nice. The decor is in keeping with the style of the house. Parking easy onsite. The welcome we revived was not what we expected from 4 * establishment. The guy on the reception could not be bothered. You would not get this reception from a b&b....

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of options and Salmon was the best of them. There is no elevator but the staff takes your suitcases upstairs so thankfully you don't have to worry about it. You do have to take it downstairs yourself when you are leaving. This was our first visit...

We stayed overnight as a family of three and despite our rather dishelvelled appearance (having lost our tent to the elements some hours earlier) were made to feel extremely welcome by the staff and team at Duisdale. Fortune favored our on spec arrival and a late cancellation was converted into our room with an extra bed added for good measure....

We saw this hotel on a recent trip to Skye, and loved it so much that we arranged to get married here, and we're both so happy we did! Gorgeous hotel, very well appointed and nicely decorated. It's got lovely gardens and a terrace, with beautiful views out to the Sound of Sleat and a lovely beach across the road....

Lovely over night stay in February, got the room for half price on a late deal and got upgraded to a four poster room. Lovely food and excellent service. Highly recommended to book in off season as rooms are often half price and the local scenery is stunning with a light dusting of snow on the Collins.

The pros: (i) except for the check in person, the staff was diligent and took care of everything; (ii) very nice large bathroom; (iii) good location for the hotel; (iv) good meal at dinner. The cons: (I) expensive for what you got; (ii) small windows and no view to speak of--I had a gas tank out my window; (iii) the...
