What a joke for that kind of money the room was tiny and so hot!!!!! Definitely would not recommend this to anyone. .... The room was the size of a toilet cubicle... to put it into perspective we had to leave one suit case in the car because we couldn't fit it in the room....

This hotel is clean and the staff were friendly, but is was not worth the money that we paid. We had deliberately requested a superior room with a walk in shower.what we got was a shower cubicle that was ridiculously small. You would be lucky to be able to bend down if you dropped the soap. The room was also...

There were so many positives about Duisdale House but also a few things with which we were a little bit disappointed. It is a beautiful building with a little pathway to the loch across the road where I almost felt I was in my idea of heaven. We had a lovely bedroom although it was quite dark. The bathroom was...

We stayed for 2 nights in July 2014 in the Garden Suite, which is a separate building behind the main hotel. The suite is fabulous - one main master bedroom which is large enough for a sitting area also, and a separate 2 twin bedroom. The other great detail was in addition to a beautiful stand alone bath, it had...

Duisdale is in a lovely setting overlooking the Sound of Sleat. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We did ask for a quiet room which may be why we were at the back o f e hotel with no view but the room was very comfortable with a large bathroom with lots of hot water for baths and showers. The...

Nice from the outside and the room was ok. The bathroom is tiny and if your seven feet tall you may be able to use the bathroom mirror. The towel warmer was not working and we called down to the front desk and they said they had to turn it on, but they never did. Disappointed it was more money...

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband in June on walking holiday. Splendid location, very comfortable beds and splendid meals, excellent service and very good value for money. Thank you we shall certainly come again.

The Duisdale is a great little hotel with outstanding food and accommodations. The rooms are small but comfortable and the staff is exceptional. The only glitch in our stay was that the bed was not the greatest and the pillows were a bit anemic. Otherwise the location, views and garden were outstanding. The cuisine was superb. The wine list was...

We visited in June and thought that the hotel was good but just lacked that je ne sais quoi which would elevate it to Excellent. We ate on two nights and on the first night despite booking for 7pm we were shown to the lounge, given menus and left for about half an hour until someone realised. Not good! However...

The service is wonderful in this intimate hotel. Check in was a breeze and all my requests were met with smiles and competence. I stayed in the separate cottage which has 2 bedrooms, a large bathroom, separate bathtub room, and a massive great room. The amenities are good, with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and hair dryer being provided. The bed was...
