This was our worst B&B choice in all of Scotland! This was no farm... It was a sheep ranch at best, with the owner more focused on getting paid rather than focusing on the delivery of reasonable service. We had a dreadful time trying to find the place in the first place, as the B&B was on a remote road,...

Purgative Farm is the Best B&B I could find in Scotland. A very warm welcome. Super Rooms en suite. The breakfast is marvellous and the landscape is amazing. I stayed there my fourth time and it feels like home to me. Never had such a friendly hospitality anywhere else. Gorgeous! !!

My second stay in this awesome place was just as expected. The owners Moira and Dave are like friends now. The room and breakfast of high quality, even a guest who was staying was very nice and breakfast all together was chats and laughters. Can't wait to go back and I think this place will always have a place in...

Staying on Purgavie Farms was perhaps one of the best decisions my mother and I have made since being in Scotland. We decided the night before we booked that we wanted to stay a night on a sheep farm and were lucky to find this gem. From the moment we arrived, Moira, the owner, was a perfect host. She showed...

Our first B&B in Scotland with young kids. Purgavie Farm has offered more than what we expected. Located beautifully, run by the most warm & friendly family. We look forward to staying there in the future.

I have stayed at Purgavie Farm on two seperate occasions, once over Christmas 2014 and more recently during March 2016 with my wife, both times have been thoroughly enjoyable stays. This is a very charming farmhouse surrounded by rolling hills and fields. The room was very clean and warm and the food was first class. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Purgavie farm in August and thought it was wonderful. Our trip around Scotland started with a few nights at Purgavie Farm which we thought was just the best. Since that first stay here we stayed at a few more B & B's but Purgavie came out as the top one., The room was lovely and homely with...

We stayed at Purgavie farm in July and came north again in October for a family celebration. We decided to go back to Purgavie as it had been so comfortable the first time. We weren't let down! It is so quiet, with lovely views from the farm. We were made to feel very welcome. The offer of fresh milk and...

We spent the first two nights of our 15 day UK trip at the Purgavie Farm. This jewel is nicely tucked away in the beautiful area surrounding Loch Lintrathen; amazingly we were able to find this spot with only a map supplied by the car rental company. Moira offers not just a room, but a lovely private suite with a...

Our journey around Scotland started with two quiet nights at Purgavie Farm that we'd found easily and without GPS. We enjoyed the comfortable rooms, the rich breakfast (that sufficed for a whole day) and the nice talks with our host. Thank you for the warm welcome.
