Our family of five spent two nights at The Kilchrenan Inn during our ten day road trip through Scotland, and it just was not enough time. This place is truly a hidden treasure that we fell in love with :) Upon arriving at the inn, you immediately notice the charm of not only the property but also the surrounding area. Once you enter the foyer, you’re greeted by wood floors, a fireplace and the most charming dining area. The bedrooms are spacious and welcoming. The bathrooms are large and modern. The Kilchrenan Inn envelopes you in comfort, and you’ll easily find yourself wanting to stay forever. We ate dinner and breakfast at the inn, and were thoroughly impressed with both. Not only was the food delicious but the service was impeccable! Hands down the best dining experience we had during our entire trip. If interested in visiting Oban, The Kilchrenan Inn is a 20-30 minute drive from the city center. Great little drive and there is plenty of free parking back at the inn. I could go on and on forever about how lovely this place is, but simply put, you need to stay here. Trust me, you’ll quickly fall in love! :)

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night to break the journey from Skye to London. We had a wonderful stay, it was a highlight of our Scottish trip! The rooms are beautiful, the staff very attentive and the food is delicious. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and hope to return very soon.

Absolutely superb food! Visited whilst staying in the area, with a child and dog in tow. Sat outside on a lovely sunny evening (the midges didn’t appear until about 8pm). The smoked fish platter was fantastic as was the fish and chips and rack of lamb. Children’s chicken goujons were a little tough, we didn’t realise until halfway through the meal otherwise would have said something at the time, but felt a bit cheeky after half eaten. But the service was excellent and a fantastic location. Definitely recommend

Found this place by accident but happy we did. Perfect for a relaxing bit of peace and quiet. Staff couldn't do more for us. Rooms are very nice and and finished to a high standard. Food in restaurants was top class. They were able to provide lots of gluten free options for my wife also. Would definitely go back here.
