Charming manor house filled with antiques and interesting art overlooking Loch Awe. Wonderful staff, good food, lovely rooms with spacious bathrooms, and picturesque grounds. It's a wonderful place to get away, relax and be away from it all. Since we were traveling around and touring, we found it too remote. It is 20-25 minutes off the main road on a...

Ardanaiseig is without a doubt a comfortable, lovely hotel. The room was completely clean and well looked after by housekeeping. The bed was extremely comfortable and the acres of grounds were a wonderful exploration - hardly tended at all these days but at some point in the past obviously had been. The staff were lovely and service was good. However,...

We stayed here for 2 nights. What a great location- on a lake in the middle of nowhere. The decor and rooms were fantastic - like a castle or manor house set in large grounds. Beds were super comfortable. The staff were very friendly. Dined in the restaurant - the breakfast had a good choice but the cooked breakfast was...

It was a long drive to get here and I became so apprehensive on the way thinking whether I made a bad choice by picking this hotel. And then... We arrive to this most majestic location on a lake with 240 acres of land and a beautiful mansion. Dave greeted us at the door, toured the facility with us and...

Without doubt, one of the nicest Hotels I have stayed in with a relaxed yet formal feel to it. Check-in was not the smoothest and bearing in mind they operate a 'late' check-in time of 3pm you would expect an Hotel of its obvious quality to be able to keep to this. One of our two rooms was ready 40...

We understand why this has won Country House hotel of the Year. As you drive up to the front door, someone comes out to welcome you and take your bags. Our room wasn't quite ready, and so tea and scones were produced in the drawing-room overlooking the loch. Our room was very comfortable and, in keeping with the rest of...

This was the best of the Inns that we stayed in during a week plus tour of Scotland. Everything about it was excellent. It started with the staff attitude and interest in accommodation and their guests enjoying there stay. Beautifully set and eclectically appointed this is a true gem not worth missing. Food was excellent, we started with high tea...

My wife had stayed here 30 some years ago with her parents. We had to stay here on our family trip. Words can not describe this place. A cool old Manor house, amazing views and grounds, and an excellent restaurant. We had an amazing room. It was huge and had a great view of the grounds and lake. It was...

We stayed and had wanted to do so for a long time. We were bitterly disappointed. In no way is this a luxury hotel. It is neglected by the greedy owner to a criminal degree. All the windows are rotten, the carpets need replacing, place is filled with tat masquerading as antiques. Staff are young and warm and friendly but...
