Great accommodation and views over Loch Awe, wonderful room and food. A little off the beaten track but that makes it's more wonderful. Would highly recommend Julie & Jamie's hospitality. Fabulous self catering accommodation with views over the loch also available.

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding at a local hotel. Chose this one based on the reviews and we were very pleased. Clean, very comfortable rooms, great breakfasts, a room with a view over the loch and a very welcoming family. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if were were in the area.

Fabulous accommodation in a lovely location. Perfect for exploring Argyll and the West Coast. Our hosts Julie and Jamie made us feel at home right from the start of our stay. Their knowledge of the surrounding area, community and visitor attractions made our stay really special. Comfortable, roomy accommodation with great food. Wildlife and views beautiful although woodpeckers evasive. Definitely...

We had a wonderful Easter week staying at Collaig Byre, in the self catering house. From the first welcoming wagging tail of Ebony to the final last look across to the snow capped Ben Cruachan, it could not have been better. We ranged from age 11 to 80 and everyone returned home with special memories. The cycling and walking offer...

An absolutely wonderful stay. Accommodation fantastic, peaceful and relaxing. Food superb. Julie an excellent host. Rooms and property has amazing views. The minor road to the property, although seemed a challenge at first, has plenty of passing places and is worth tackling. I couldn't recommend Collaig House highly enough...gem, wonderful, brilliant, excellent all words which sum up this treasure. Can't...

The house is well finished and rooms a good size however the steep stairs make it a challenge for older guests. The facility would benefit from access to a guest or shared lounge. There are better places to visit in the area that are easier to find.

Stayed two nights as part of a two week trip all over Scotland. This property and it's delightful 'landlady' (Julie), is a hidden gem in some of the most gorgeous countryside you will ever find. Our room was large with a fantastic view of the nearby loch. We'd had a long drive, and were glad of a pleasant greeting with...

Stayed here as a couple for a long weekend, lovely house and Julie is a warm & welcoming host. Fresh tea/coffee, scone and homemade jam when we arrived. There aren't really any negatives but I will point just a couple of things out that would put me of returning. Please be aware that it is a long way, some 10...
