We recently spent 2 nights at the Corran and were very happy with almost everything. We had the lovely spacious room upstairs with gorgeous view down the loch. Comfortable chairs to enjoy the view, big thick towels and great breakfast.

Stayed here as part of a group of motorcyclists , touring the area. The rooms were comfy and clean, with plenty of hot water . Breakfast in the morning was excellent . Many Thanks to Wilma for looking after us, and making our stay enjoyable. Excellent views over the back garden and loch , from room 2.

I have been staying at the Corran on about 4 occassions a year for the last 4 years and what a decline in standards. They have now reached a level where you have the pleasure of paying £55 a night if you are a on your own and you get the pleasure of making your own bed in the morning...

We were told if we didn't make it down for time for breakfast not to worry, we'd definitely get fed! Likewise we...

Susan, the host, makes this visit worthwhile!! I loved our room downstairs and huge separate bathroom. We had just arrives in Scotland and wanted to sleep. It was nice and quiet where we were. It is an older place, but has its own charm. Great stopover on the way to Isle of Islay!

We really enjoyed our two night stay here. Our room was spacious with a lovely view of the garden and loch. Breakfast was very well cooked and we particularly enjoyed the potato scones. Our hosts were friendly but unobtrusive. We were on a cycling holiday and access to the canal path was just across the road. The only downside was...

We stayed at The Corran for two nights during our tour of Scottish gardens. It made a really good base with a warm welcome; comfortable, spacious room and excellent, well cooked breakfasts from a good choice of menu. Lovely surroundings and garden. Unfortunately we could not see very much from our window! Nice stay - recommended.
