#1 of 7 Speciality lodging in Taynuilt
Loch Awe Holiday Park is a haven for outdoor explorers, adventurers and those looking for a peaceful escape to the bonnie Scottish countryside. Situated a stone’s throw from Argyll’s highest munro, Ben Cruachan, and surrounded by the River Awe, hikers, bikers and keen anglers can while away many happy hours here. For skiers and wee sledgers, the park is perfectly positioned for accessing the slopes of Glencoe Mountain Resort during the winter months. For those who prefer a relaxing daunder, have a look at our suggestions for nearby walks.

Sue and Paul made our weekend at Lochawe Holiday Park quite special. I had advised before arrival that it was a trip to celebrate a special birthday for my wife, and they went above and beyond for us, by leaving us some great birthday treats. The park was quiet, but was a great base to explore the local area. We will 100% be back when we get the opportunity. The lodge was very cozy and the hottub was spotless. Sue and Paul were very friendly and always there if we needed them. Thanks Sue and Paul for an awesome weekend.

Ben Cruachan 2 Spa lodge - (Mon 22/11/21- Fri 26/11/21) Lasted 1 day before leaving and awaiting a refund! Cleanliness and care for the cabin was absolutely appalling! Seat cushions of the sofa’s leather had several tears on it and the back and side skirt of the other sofa looked to be covered in muck. In the main bathroom the floor covered in head and body hair as well as the blind and window sill frame covered in mould. In the en-suite shower there was a used bar of soap also covered in hair. We also had to wash most of the crockery as it hadn’t been cleaned properly either. Intermittent heating and hot water as there was an issue with the boiler and the hot tub was like an ice bath. The bed linen was covered in hair and what looked to be body fluid stains. This was also the case for both beds in the second bedroom. The site also sits by the A85 road to and from Oban which had constant traffic and is very noisy.

First time visiting with my husbands brother and sister in law. He is disabled and Sue and Paul and the team at Hoseasons couldn’t be more helpful. Caravan 7 is lovely, spacious and lovely and cosy- and with the dog walking area right by the plot- perfect. Sue & Paul are so friendly- explained about the site and helpful with facts about the area. Lovely the plans they have- seat in the dog walking area- fence and gate hopefully to be fitted. You feel safe and happy and know that the time spent here will be just what you need- a holiday in a lovely part of Scotland

Fantastic trip away. The park managers Sue and Paul were so friendly and welcoming, the accommodation was spotlessly clean and instructions on how to use hot tub etc were very clear and concise. Would completely recommend a visit to this beautiful area and we will definitely be back in the future!
