Just returned from a week in Holly Tree lodge with my brother and sister in law. Joe and Margaret are so lovely, even when Scottish Cottage Holidays cancelled our holiday without any explanation, we dealt direct with the owners, welcome pack of food was there when we arrived, and lodge spotless. The views are amazing, and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony overlooking the River Awe. Oban just a short drive away, ideal base for exploring beautiful Scotland

The lodge we stayed in slept 4 and was well furnished and nicely laid out. Joe and Margaret could not be more helpful both on getting there and leaving a welcome pack that had everything you could need on the first day - in fact for a few days! The location is perfect and tranquil, the views are stunning and the wildlife plentiful, helped by the many feeders that attract a wide variety of species. The WiFi was also good, and there was also Sky. Joe gave us lots of great advice and was very helpful generally - we loved our stay and should/when we come to this part of Scotland we will definitely be looking to stay here again.

The Lodges are fabulous. Clean, tidy and very well equipped. The owners Joe and Margaret can't do enough for you. The situation overlooking The River Awe is Awesome! So much wildllife to admire from the baclonies. Fish jumping in the river and scores of birds on the feeders. We first discovered Tigh An Daraich 12 years ago, loved it then, love it even more all these years later. Oban is a few miles away. Take the ferry acroos to Mull and drive down to Ffionport to ferry again over to Iona. Magical! Definitely a recommend!

My wife and I stayed here with our dog for a long weekend in September 2018. We had an excellent stay, the owners were very friendly and the property was well maintained and spotlessly clean with lovely views. There were also local pine martens on the go, despite our best efforts we never managed to see one. The property is located a brief 20.min drive from Oban and there is a local hotel within 5mins which serves evening meals.

Just returned from Tigh an Daraich Lodges and everything was perfect from the minute we arrived until the minute we left, could have stayed forever. It's the warm welcome and all the little personal touches that make this accomodation stand out from the croud. On arrival we were greeted by Joe, the owner, who welcomed us and spent time ensuring we had everything we needed including a very generous welcome pack. Thereafter, your privacy is respected but there is always someone on hand should you require any help or information. The lodges are obviously beautifully built and lovingly maintained by Joe and his lovely wife, Margaret. They are spotlessly clean throughout, extremely comfortable and well equip. The location is perfect and the sorrounding views and wildlife on show are spectacular. Joe can be found refilling the bird feeder's every day.... and in the evening leaving eggs and nuts for the Pine Martins who visit every evening, providing endless hours entertainment for the residents. I would not hesitate to reccomend Tigh an Daraich Lodges to anyone, couples and families alike. Thank you Joe and Margaret, all of your efforts are greatly apprieciated and we will definately return in the near future.
