Panoramic sea views from the breakfast conservatory, helpful and friendly owners, modern ensuite and spacious rooms. We were made to feel instantly at home after arriving on a cold winter's evening, and it was a fine base for exploring Bute.

Are all the room up many stairs - am looking to take my 89 year old mother for a couple of days but stairs are a bit of an issue. My parents lived in Rothesay when they were first married as my dad was in the Navy. She would love to go back for the memories.

We had a lovely, spacious double room on the ground floor. It has a beautiful view over Rothesay bay. No stairs at all to climb.
