We stayed at the Bayview for 4 nights in July and what a brilliant hotel it is. Very comfortable room with a fantastic view over the bay and the food was excellent with a wide variety at breakfast. Only a short 10 minute walk to the centre of Rothesay and very friendly hosts

Recently returned from the Bayview Hotel on the beautiful Isle of Bute. Have visited this excellent hotel before, but this time we were able to enjoy our 3 night stay in one of the top-floor suites , new since our last visit. The accommodation was absolutely delightful. The rooms had everything a visitor could want, were extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean,...

We stayed in room 4 (not suitable for anyone infirmed). What a lovely, bright room facing the garden. Everything was there and sparkling! So clean - the hotel is spotless! We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast was beautifully cooked. It consisted of everything you could wish. Staff were lovely, too. We had a drink outside in late evening,...

We had room 10 at the top of the hotel. Not suitable for those with mobility issues, however it affords an amazing view of the Clyde. Room is split into two with a separate lounge area which was an added bonus for us. Room was clean and well maintained by friendly staff. Despite the fact that there is currently a...

The welcome was so friendly and warm, lovely way to begin our trip. The room was fantastic - talk about picture windows! This was certainly a room with a view (room 10). It was so good to have the extra space of the seating area - such comfy seats as well! Very good sleep and excellent breakfast. Nothing was too...

Lovely views across the bay from our room. (Room 5) Tea and coffee facility in the room. Decor a wee bit dated but don't let this put you...

When you arrive at this lovely Victorian building you'll be made very welcome by the owners. The sea views are quite stunning. Its only a few minutes walk from the town centre, and provides a great base for a tourist. Given the age of the building, the room is a bit of a mix of old and new, but the...

We stayed in room 5 which had class views of the sea and mountains. The room was large although it was built on a slight slope which felt a little weird at first. Staff were very nice and breakfast was decent. A little old fashioned interior in the main part of the hotel. But overall we enjoyed it for a...
