We stayed in the Kingfisher Lodge for a long weekend to celebrate my brother's wedding. We chose and booked the lodge online and were thrilled when we saw it 'live' upon our arrival. The Kingfisher Lodge is very close to the loch and enjoys nice views. The lodge was perfectly equipped (even providing an umbrella, which, fortunately, we didn't need)....

First of all the positives. This lodge is in a great location being one of a small group of lodges lying in a tract of land between the A82 and Loch Lomond. You won't get a view of the Loch as it's obscured by trees, but a 100 yard walk down the lane will bring you to the lochside and...

We stayed at the Arden Lodges for our friends' wedding. We chose these lodges as they were the closest to the Cruin, which was the venue of the wedding reception, and as we had our 1 year old with us we wanted the convenience of not having to travel far with her. A cot was provided and we had enough...

We stayed for a week in the Kingfisher lodge. It was clean, spacious, well equipped. We had a small view of the loch, but 2 mins walk from seeing it in all its glory! A short drive from shops & facilities. we were disappointed that the Cruin was only open for weddings. It would have been lovely to have been...

Like most people I guess, we stayed at the Arden Lodges because we were attending a wedding at the Cruin. The lodges are part of a small development of just 5 lodges with a few more around the corner that seem to be used by their owners. Don't expect a view of the loch; there isn't one. And don't expect...

We were staying there for a week, as we were there for my Daughters Wedding. The lodges themselves are a basic square construction furnished mainly by IKEA. We had a two bedroom lodge, which was adequate but with not a lot of room. It was kitted out with fridge, microwave, ceramic hob and flat screen V with Sky satellite. Heating...

My husband and I have just returned from a holiday at Arden Lodges which included our friends' wedding at The Cruin which was a wonderful occasion. The scenery at Loch Lomond is beautiful, and we found some lovely easy walks including one along the lakeside into Balloch which took about an hour. Ideally you do need a car to get...
