The decor of this hotel is outdated, but it is clean, the staff are very good and helpful and the food lovely. The views over Loch Long are spectacular and well worth paying extra for a loch view bedroom. It is in a stunning location near to Loch Lomond. We would happily visit again.

Tiny room, hasn't been upgraded/redecorated in a very long time. Great location though, only about an hour's drive north of Glasgow airport, looking out over Loch Long about 5 miles from Loch Lomond boat excursion. Fabulous breakfast though their version of haggis isn't very good. Pass that at this hotel.

We stayed one night on our way further north. There is a flight of steps to the main entrance so not really suitable for wheelchairs. Coaches visit and we were not very close to the lift, the room was not over large, but adequate, though we had a view of Loch Long to which the hotel fronts. The restaurant serves...

We went away for a night in July 2016. Beautiful location, great view for our room (110) and the dining room too. Friendly reception staff (pay upfront which is not the norm ). Food for tea was good. £18.95 for 3 courses including tea and coffee . Breakfast was very good too. Cereal then full cooked breakfast and toast with...

From the moment we arrived into the car park and were assisted with our luggage by a very helpful young man, to the moment we left, our experience of The Arrochar Hotel was most enjoyable. Our room, 102, had exceptional views of both the loch and the mountains. The room itself had recently been refurbished, with new furnishings and carpet...

The Arrochar Hotel is located beside Loch Long in the Scottish Highlands. The location is delightful - water, mountains, a truly Scottish highland gem Restaurant has excellent views. Service quick and efficient. Bar area also restful and quiet.

The hotel is in a fantastic location on the Loch so has amazing views. Paid £90 for a twin room with breakfast and evening meal. The value for money was incredible as the meal was delicious - 3 courses with good choices or if you wanted something else you had more choices for a supplement. The staff were very helpful...
