We had a gorgeous room, wonderful views over Loch Long. Staff were very helpful from the minute we got there until the minute we unfortunately left. Breakfast was very filling, generous portions. Even can accommodate for a coeliac breakfast. Great location for going further up in to Scotland. We definitely will be back this year.

We stayed for one night on our way out to Islay. We were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to our room. Check-in wasn't until 5pm so might inconvenience some people on long winter nights, but it was fine for us. The room was large enough and very clean. We hadn't paid extra for a loch view so...

Stayed at the Lochside Guest House this weekend. It was clean and newly decorated. The location is great with lovely views from the breakfast room across the Loch. Great value for money too. Meg greeted us on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful. She also served as at breakfast, dealt with our specific needs i.e. one vegetarian and one...

This was simply perfect! We had a wonderful time. The staff were all so friendly and kind and even let us check in early. Our room was spotless and fresh and the view was completely out of this world. The breakfast was delicious and couldn't have been better value for money. Can't recommend more highly!

The hotel was right on the main road so was very easy to find and had plenty of parking spaces too. The room was totally worth the stay just for the views! had a surprisingly large ensuite bathroom as well. It was very clean and comfy and even on a -5C night, the room was remarkably cosy even with lowest...

If coming by train, you will have to walk a furlong or five to reach Main Street in Arrochar; once there, however, the establishment is impossible to miss. The build-up of the house is a tad labyrinthine, but you will eventually find the right room by trial and error. The room was spacious enough, equipped with good heating and an...

The very helpful lady on reception said the room was ready so showed us to room 4, a lovely room with bay window looking out over loch long, absolutely stunning. The room itself was spot on, comfy double bed,...

Stayed for a weekend break and could easily have stayed longer. Arriving late on Friday night we had to go to the Bothy next door. Couldn't have been friendlier. Checked in quickly, and shown to room, parking and where to eat breakfast. Rooms are very spacious (we had room 7) with TV, tea/coffee and a very nice en suite. Very...

We enjoyed two nights stay at this lovely guest house. It was easy to find, the staff very helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom were small but contained all we needed and were clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was of high standard and plentiful. Bar next door served a good variety of meals at a good price. Wifi worked...

Spent 3 nights at the Lochside. Stunning view from our room (number 9) across the Loch..worth paying a little extra. Room was very clean. Lovely decor and comfortable bed. Good choice at breakfast. Food was tasty and well cooked. Staff were hard working and friendly. Special mention for Natalie who was everywhere! Waitress at breakfast, cleaning the bedrooms, working at...
