We have never stayed in Balloch before, it is a lovely little village with plenty to do and lovely views. Alison at Woodvale is very accommodating, helpful and friendly. My husband has an allergy to fabric softener so Alison didn't use any on our sheets and used no smelling air fresheners or cleaners. We will be back for next years...

When we arrived we had had some problems in other B&B but finding this one was such a nice surprise. Alison is the perfect host, really lovely and nice, and she made us feel really comfortable. She prepared a good scotish breakfast. And what about the room? Big, beautiful, comfortable and very clean. Really, it's the perfect B&B.

We stayed here for two nights in August to decompress from the Fringe and it was utterly perfect! Alison texted us directions from the station and it was an easy 7 mins or so walk, we were met at the door and shown to our lovely little attic room which was brilliant for our needs. The private bathroom is downstairs,...

We enjoyed our short stay at Woodvale B&B. Well situated for onward travel but quiet and set off of the road. We got the last room which was in the attic. Very comfortable. No en-suite bathroom but exclusive use of a very nice bathroom/shower-room downstairs. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and we had the best breakfast of our...

Alison is adorable, she make me feel like if I was at my own home. The location is perfect, very close from the train station and the there is a bus stop right in front of the house. The breakfast was delicious :) I 100% recommend it, and I will definitely go back.

Our flight was delayed, so arrived later than expected, we was meet by a warm friendly lady. Was shown to our large clean room, asked the following morning for a few things, nothing was to much trouble.
