I visited the oak tree in for my birthday weekend in October (I'm a bit late in getting round to my review!). When visiting the oak tree inn, we spent 2 nights in the wonderful pod to the back of the main building - and we loved it! Although the pod was a bit chilly on arrival, the small heater...

Visited with family and friends after a morning walk and came across this little gem. I had the Parma ham pizza which was delicious, thin crispy base with very good quality ingredients on top. The place itself was very quirky and we were lucky enough to get the table in front of the open fire. Will definitely go back again.

The food here was lovely - I had the beef burger and the quality of the beef was very good, and very tasty. It was very busy so we had to wait around 15 minutes for a table so I would recommend booking in advance. It was however worth the wait!

It's a stunning place, with nature at its best. Weather was typical for February but that didn't dampen our spirits. The Oak Tree Inn is a very lovely place with exceptional food and ambiance. We were in a standard room No 21 which was small but comfortable with a large walk in shower, in Dans Cottage off 4 apartments (I...

I called to see if we needed to book ahead and told not. Despite the fact it was a Saturday night, we easily secured a table. It was approximately 7pm. Given that it was the busiest night of the week even for the end of January, table service was good and everyone enjoyed their choices. My only regret was my...

A lovely warm and friendly place to eat. My partner and I stopped here for a bite to eat. We both had fish and chips which was delicious. I really loved how it was presented. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Would definitely recommend  and visit again in the summer. Thanks 👌

A great place to stay when visiting Loch Lomond. Good food and drink. Clean and comfortable rooms at very reasonable prices. We paid £50 for a twin room in one of the cottages including breakfast. A real bargain. I'd definitely return.

Day trip to Loch lomond, climbed Conic Hill and went to refeul after at Oak Tree Inn. Wife had cullin skink soup, very creamy, not overloaded with fish, but she enjoyed it. I had tuna toasted ciabatta which was nice and slightly spicy, swapped the crisps and coleslaw sides for side salad. Nice quante wee pub in lovely location. Well...

We went for a couple of nights for Valentines and loved the place. Quirky layout to the place with really nice rooms. The restaurant serves top notch food, although we ate in the bar (same food) as we liked the atmosphere in there so why move? The staff were friendly and cheerful, great breakfast....everything was just excellent. We launched our...

Spent my birthday at the waterside lodges and had my birthday dinner here... lovely food with loads to choose from on the menu...the staff were really attentive. A good choice of wine reasonably priced... very popular restaurant even out of season so might be an idea to book if you are going during the high season.
