This was the last hotel I stayed in on my Scottish Highlands roadtrip. It was also the most expensive of my hotel stays. I typically paid between £75 and £100 for very nice hotels during my trip, but I paid £120 at MHOR84...and this didn't include breakfast. Whilst I had a great stay, and the food was top class, I was expecting a little more for my money. Service was friendly, but formal, so, all in all, a nice stay, but could be that bit better.
On a long weekend to Scotland, whilst taking a car trip out taking in the breathtaking scenery, with most tourist places closed for the winter. we found this little gem. The staff were friendly and the food was sublime, catering for all our parties dietary requirements.
Have visited Mhor84 a few times now, and have always been blown away by the food, the service and the friendliness of the staff. Great veggie and vegan options too. Will always stop here when we are in the area now.
It was a busy sunny evening. Booking efficiently dealt with, nice table outside in the sun for drinks. Bearing in mind that the kitchen was short staffed (the dreaded ping) there was a very limited menu. Food was very good, well presented, with no noticeable delays. Well done. Back soon when more extensive menu available
We stopped off after a weekend of climbing for some breakfast and it was superb. The waitress was lovely and the local produce was fantastic. I had "The Meaty" breakfast with a really nice coffee. We sat outside and although it's just off the main road, it's very peaceful as it's set back. We will definitely be back!
