Stopped in today for coffee n cake ☕️☕️🍰🍰. Quirky cafe and bar. Clean, warm and inviting. Excellent service. Coffee hit the spot. Cake selection was fabulous. Not dissappinted ...they were delish. Served by HARVEY. 10/10 . All round asset to the Mhor84 team. WELL DONE 👏
Another visit to this fantastic venue and another great time, and the weather almost meant we had to stay longer. The food and amenities were lovey and the staff did a great job coping with the water going off, the wifi going down and helping push us out of the snow filled car park.
We arrived drenched off the Rob Roy Way and were thrilled with our clean room, with bath, lovely toiletries, and complimentary shortbread. Dinner was fabulous - the lamb shank was delicious. We really enjoyed having a residents' lounge to relax in. Breakfast was fab - especially the muesli. The staff were totally focused on making our stay comfortable and responded with speed when the heating in our room didn't seem to work. There are lots of opportunities to go back to Mhor 84 even when not doing the Rob Roy Way - love all the events they're advertising.
Spent a lovely night here for our anniversary. It’s in a gorgeous location and very accessible, it’s quirky but comfortable and relaxed, the rooms are lovely and the staff were great. All this (and breakfast) for the cost of a night at a chain hotel in Edinburgh.
We've made a special trip to Mhor 84 for breakfast over a few years now for my birthday. The veggie breakfast, although expensive and quite small for the price, is delicious and everything is so tasty. Today was our 3rd trip here for birthday breakfast and we are very sad to be disappointed to what was a favourite place . We waited 45 minutes from ordering breakfast to being served it. My partner mentioned the wait to a male member of staff who wasn't that friendly or apologetic. Instead he just told us there was a big order before ours. Maybe it would have been a good idea to have told us this on us ordering. No apology, no offer off further drinks even. For 30 pounds for 2 breakfasts and 2 hot drinks , you expect better service. Very sad to say this and probably won't any longer return.…
One of the busiest fridays of the year, when one restaurant had just refused to serve us food at 17:00, we were told by a local to try MHOR 84. So we (young family) came here. It was packed, with over 100 people outside getting ready for a wedding party, but no issue to the staff. Sat outside in the evening sun, blue sky it was amazing. Staff friendly, food simple, but well cooked, not over seasoned and very tasty. Nothing was too much trouble. We waited for a table outside as these could not be booked. I cannot remeber the last time I left a tip, but I did on this occassion. Well done.
We were a bit dubious about going back here as we were there last year and very disappointed so we were pleasantly surprised with our return visit food was amazing , staff very polite and knowledgeable nothing was a problem would highly recommend
We found this place the other day as there were not a lot of restaurants open. It was very good and we had a nice relaxing lunch there. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Especially the american girl (sorry, didn't get her name). We enjoyed it so much, we came back the next day for a wonderful breakfast. Husband had the scottish breakfast and I had eggs benedict. I would highly recommend this place
We stayed for 2 nights recently. Our room was comfortable, and staff were all helpful and friendly. Breakfast is not included, but was very tasty. My only complaint is the lack of a drying room for wet walking boots and backpacks - this would be a great addition, and there do seem to be unused out-buildings. Otherwise, very good place!
This was the last hotel I stayed in on my Scottish Highlands roadtrip. It was also the most expensive of my hotel stays. I typically paid between £75 and £100 for very nice hotels during my trip, but I paid £120 at MHOR84...and this didn't include breakfast. Whilst I had a great stay, and the food was top class, I was expecting a little more for my money. Service was friendly, but formal, so, all in all, a nice stay, but could be that bit better.
