We travel north a couple of times each year and like to beak our journey and this was our first stay here. We were made very welcome and this is a comfortable and friendly place to stop. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The bar menu is extensive and the food was excellant. They have a large variety of malt whiskies...

Was there for one night with my girlfriend. The room was nicely decorated, clean and the beds very comfortable! The staff was very friendly! Both the menu and the bar selection is good and the food was excellent! The hotel is on a main street, but the noise is minimal and frankly doesn't matter with the surrounding landscape being so...

We first discovered this hotel some years ago just after the Salisbury family took it over. Since then we have made a number of visits on our way to the Islands or Highlands. The hotel is cosy, welcoming and set in lovely surroundings. The food is of a very high standard and everything is so reasonably priced.

This was advertised as a two star establishment but that certainly shouldn't put anyone off - but you should expect some limitations in facilities which is to be expected for the rating and price. We were given a very friendly welcome and enjoyed a comfortable stay in a nice room. The evening meal was excellent - good home cooked fare....

On a short break with my girlfriend and parents we spent one night at this old hunting lodge as part of our trip. The rooms were small and decor was dated, but everything was clean and tidy and the hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating.....reasonable value for what it was and fine for a short stop on the way to...

We chose this Hotel because of its location- quiet and peaceful. It was just that! It's an old Hunting Lodge- and has that old world character & charm. The Inn Keepers were very friendly and helpful- with suggestions for roads, restaurants, and activities. Very good Breakfasts! Wi-Fi is only in the Bar.

This hotel was clean, cosy and "oh so" welcoming. Barbara wanted to please - and she did. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and chose to eat in the bar that evening and we were not disappointed. A lovely family run hotel and we would very much like to return one day and would most definitely recommend.
