We were travelling through Scotland and needed an overnight stop, we are always pleased to find a dog friendly pub serving really tasty reasonable priced food - and this was it :-). Locals were playing their instruments, friendly staff which we really added to the already welcoming and warm experience. The rooms were in chalets in sets of three which...

Stayed here the night before a hill walk. Got one of the chalets for me, my friend and our two chums. Did not sleep too well but more just because there was not too much space for the dogs who fought a bit. The breakfast was really good and they had a vegetarian cooked breakfast option which is quite rare....

After a long eight hour drive, we arrived to a warm & friendly welcome from Beth which was much appreciated. Travelling with my elderly parents for their anniversary, we booked two cabins for four nights. Perfectly comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed the live music in the evenings, so talented & created a great atmosphere. The owners...

A bit tired and shabby, my wife spent a few minutes cleaning the double room to our standard on arrival. That said, it wasn't a bad deal at £66 a night for two with a dog, and cooked breakfast included which was hot, tasty, and served fairly quickly. A good location, nice to have one's own front door, and a...

The hotel consists of a number of log cabin style buildings adjoining a pub. Our chalet was rather tired with carpet showing signs of prolonged wear and a very ancient television that was initially reluctant to work at all and eventually with intervention from the owner managed a rather low-standard picture. In addition it was adorned with the tacky remains...

We went to this hotel for dinner only (no overnight stay), but it was a really lovely place with some of the best food we had during our 9-day trip. The sticky toffee pudding was particularly good and the service was excellent.

Hotel is in a very nice location and has a motel like arrangement of log cabin rooms. The bar and restaurant was nice and welcoming serving a good choice of meals in the evening and a nice breakfast. The only things that let it down were a couple of places where cobwebs and dirt had not been seen. The extractor...

The lodges are very small and tired, but clean. No wifi or telephone, ok for one night. Next door is a restaurant where breakfast was served, we got a vegetarian option which was excellent. Very helpful and friendly staff.

We did not stay at the Ben More buy ate there every evening during a week's walking in early June. We kept coming back because the food was wonderful, especially the homemade steak and ale pie. The prices are reasonable and the service very good. The music laid on by the owner and his friends really made the evenings. Everyone...

What else can i say, bed and breakfast for 3 of us for 66 quid, the room was very comfy, facilities in the lodges were very good for the price and what is to be expected, its not glamorous with 5* facilities and it never ever tries to be, what the Ben More Lodge does though is that it focuses...
