A fabulous place to stay with plenty of character and charm. Sue and John are fantastic at not only running the place but also making you feel so at home. Sue is the perfect front of house host and John is an amazing chef. 2 fantastic meals here, we will definitely be back sometime.
What an absolutely amazing place to stay, we loved the fact it’s location is remote but accessible to lots of places to visit. John and Sue are both lovely people and we hit it off straight away. Beautiful bar area and lovely open fire. The food was the best we’d had in our 2 weeks travelling Scotland and totally recommend the fish and chips amazing, breakfast too was lovely with proper thick cut toast. We loved it so much we’ve already booked for next April
Very welcoming family run B&B, lovely food served in bar/pub at great prices. Close to lots of walks and activities in the Trossachs. John and Sue were so welcoming and helpful to our whole family - looking forward to returning whenever we are back in this beautiful part of the world!
We had a great stay in Luib. wonderful food, cosy rooms and great views from our room and the garden. Lovely traditional pub, friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a base for exploring Loch Lomond area.
The hotel is situated on the roadside of the A85 between Killin and Crianlarich, with glorious views over Glen Dochart. The hotel has a pretty bar and dining area, as well as undercover seating outside which serves as a beer garden and extra dining space - if the midgies allow! Beyond the car park is a small campsite with electric hook-up points, for which a charge is made, but is redeemable against food and drink. Food is good and reasonably priced, as are the drinks. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, as are the toilets, exceptionally so in my opinion. Very hospitable owners who go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. No pets allowed, so bear that in mind if you have one travelling with you.
