Just back from a two night weekend break with a couple of friends and we would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back again. Staff were really friendly, very helpful, hotel was spotlessly clean and the views from the rooms were stunning. We spent the Friday and Saturday evening in the lounge bar. The entertainment was really good with...

Lovely spacious twin room on top floor with superb views. Shower excellent and all the usual facilities available. Owners very pleasant and helpful. We canoed down Loch Tay after launching from their garden.

We really enjoyed the Coach House and used it as a base for exploring the area. Our room was immaculate. Breakfast was made to order between 8 -9:30. Friendly owners. Homey bar which served some great food. There was music on the weekend. Just a great experience overall.

The owners are the most ignorant hotel/bar staff I have ever encountered. After a days golfing at the wonderful Killin golf club, we were asked to leave as we were blocking the bar whilst buying drinks....how dare we stand drinking at a bar!

The gentleman who wrote this review was part of a golf party of six who stayed with us. They were joined in the bar by the rest of their party another eight or nine and proceeded to congregate arround the bar. Initially they were polite and friendly but as the night progressed they became more rowdy and were stopping other...

This is a wonderful little hotel. My partner and I arrived here after a long day hillwalking and immediately headed for the bar to order some food and drinks. The steak pie and hot and spicy chilli con carne were both excellent and the pub has a nice old fashioned, homely feel. We checked into the Dochart room and I...

Thank you for your kind comments. Please see the review above for our comments on the golf party. The hotel has a policy of discouraging large single sex parties but unfortunately when people book over the internet and only give limited informatiom it is difficult to discriminate. I am sorry that your stay was mared by the inconsiderate action of...

We have previously enjoyed our stays at the Coach House in a lovely large room with 4 poster bed and whirlpool bath (Dochart). We thought we had booked the same room this time (advertised with feature bed) but were given a smaller room in the attic. This was very nicely furnished but didn't justify the same top price as the...

I am sorry that the lady did not enjoy her stay. Unfortunately she e-mailed to ask for the Dochart room on the day of her arrival and it was already occupied. Can I please stress that the only way to guarantee any particular room is to phone the hotel in advance when we will do our best to oblige. With...

Dropped in here for a pint and some coffee after a day out hillwalking in February. Friendly service, reasonable prices, free refills of coffee which incidentally came with biscuits. Really nice atmosphere and service - would not hesitate to recommend this establishment. Have returned here in April and received exactly the same warm welcome and good value.

Fabulous few nights at this lovely peaceful hotel. Food was yummie also, just what we needed before a long walk. Perfectly situated just out of the village area, but within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed in the Dorach room, lovely clean & warm with a four poster bed & spa bath. Ate and enjoyed evening meal here in the pub attached & enjoyed the live band very good, altogether lovely night. Would definitely recommend for a nice escape from the hustle & bustle of busy city life.
