Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight break at Clachan Cottae Hotel and would recommend as a base for walking, cycling or canoeing in the area. Beautiful location in the edge of Loch Earn, rustic, cosy and atmospheric. We had a delicious three course meal in the Rowan Restaurant followed by a dram in the Clachan Bar and a hearty cooked breakfast in...

Had nice stay at hotel. Appears that the hotel has had a lot of recent refurbishments and everything looking good, clean and tidy. Had a standard double room over looking the loch which was very nice. Lovely evening spent in bar next to wood burning stove and had enjoyable meal. Staff very friendly, look forward to returning.

Hotel was great evening meals disappointed Rooms large and some dog friendly upon request before booking. Very clean rooms. Creaky floorboards adds to character of building. Lovely lochside views and car park. Large choice of breakfast. Need to change evening meals somewhat overpriced and lacking in quality.

We had a wonderful time there, the twin room was ideal complete with kettle etc, the room was clean and very pleasantly decorated. The bathroom was lovely with a super shower. We had a garden view. The bar was welcoming and very cosy we spent a couple of nights there met lovely people and the food was brilliant, piping hot...

Excellent hotel in a superb location with access to lots of activities for the serious outdoor type or the casual walker. Would recommend staying at this hotel to recharge your batteries and chill. We will be returning soon and go on the several recommended walks around the loch.

Trying to book the room took many attempts over the space of a week until someone answered the phone. Arrived and was given a cosy room with a good view of the loch. Food was average, but the service was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was nice, but the mattress was not great. Breakfast in the...

My husband and I were given a voucher at christmas worth £95 from my parents for two nights in a double room with breakfast. The hotel looks really lovely and we were in desperate need of a break so very much looked forward to our stay. I called the hotel on many occasions at different times with no answer. When...

Enjoyed our stay. Very informal which suited us. Food was good although would have preferred to eat in the dining room rather than bar. Room was a bit tired but perfectly clean and serviceable. Not many staff around. This was not an issue for the type of break we were on.
