I love Drimsynie. We visit at least once per year for a reasonably priced weekend get away when the schools are off. We always book a caravan and are never disappointed, they are stunning. The walks and views are fantastic. I found the reception staff very polite and welcoming. Now the negatives. I find the price of the swimming totally...

Having visited a few times a decade or so ago, much appears to be changing and all for the better. We had a lodge with a hot tub, the finishings and furnishing inside the lodge was of a really good standard and was all very comfortable. The dishwasher and music system were much welcomed by us all! I have booked both a caravan and a lodge here on several different occasions. The hot tub lodges require a large hot tub deposit on arrival, the othe rlodges and caravans a smaller deposit. This is common so not an issue. However, the hot tub lodges are VERY noisy at night, there seems to be a massive influx of stag...

So, where to begin! I wanted a lodge for an overnight stay and couldn't get one. I got the hotel! A four poster bed, views of Loch, £90 for 4 of us.... result ( or was it!!!) After a snowy drive over the rest and be thankful we pulled up to the tranquility of the estate to be met with...

Stayed here twice once with family and once with friends, lodges are clean and luxurious, hot tubs great. Ice maker on the fridge needed fixed but not a big deal. Everything you need is provided here. I would say that the Bar food overpriced and not great but pub along the road does fab meals. Would stay again :)

We booked a short stay, 3 nights over Christmas, for our party of 5, plus dog. The lodge , a Lapwing Comfort Plus, was very spacious all 3 bedrooms of a good size, comfortable beds, and well presented. The kitchen was rather spartan, with only the very basic of equipment. There is an added charge for gas and electricity payable on...

Food poor with few staff on duty, the restaurant was a mess around early evenings. Staff very slow with wrong and mixed up orders. Almost every table reserved and again not many options available.
