My wife booked this for us as part of my 50th birthday present and we were not disappointed. I was booked to fish on the Upper Dryburgh beat of the Tweed which runs directly in front of the hotel and could not have asked for a more beautiful location to stay. We had a lovely drive up through the borders...

Great welcome. All the staff were very helpful and keen to ensure our needs were met. Food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Hotel in fantastic location with grounds running down to the Tweed. Would definitely stay there again.

Although the main areas in the hotel are maintained to a good standard, we were really disappointed in our room. the carpet was stained and looked dirty, the ensuite was tired and the grouting was badly discoloured, the vanity unit was cracked, the bath looked really shabby, discoloured and stained. There was also no slip mat in the bath which...

A very grand hotel set in stunning countryside. We stayed with friends for a couple of nights and despite being given a substandard room initially ( the carpet looked like it had been fitted during the Roman times) the issue was promptly dealt with. Some areas of the hotel looked like they could do with a bit of a makeover...

Our stay in Dryburgh was free as we booked it through a deal with Arnold Clark. On arrival the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. We were told everything we needed to know - meal times, things to do etc. We got to our room which was nice and clean, although quite cold and we had to out the radiator...

Recently stayed here for three nights. The location is stunning and is far away from shops etc (which was perfect for relaxation). It is an ideal base to explore the beautiful borders area and only an hour from Edinburgh. The food was nice but there wasn't much for the vegetarian in my family. The rooms were OK, but the reason...

We were on the 3rd floor and a good walk (there is a lift) booked a suite and could not believe the size of it large double bedroom, bathroom then separate TV lounge area which had a single bed for our son. Extremely...

A lovely traditional hotel in an idyllic setting by the River Tweed, overlooking the historic Dryburgh Abbey. We had a large room in the newer part but it was well furnished ands extremely spacious with a massive bed! The bathroom was spotlessly clean and luxurious and generally the room was of a very high and tasteful standard. The evening meal...

This hotel is not a modern flash hotel and if you want that, don't come here! Here you get tradition, comfort and good old fashioned quality with friendly service. Cannot recommend this highly enough - and loved it so much we are thinking about getting married there! The hotel sits above the banks of the River Tweed and is very...

We stayed for a midweek 40th birthday treat. The arrival was less than welcoming as the male receptionist was off-hand. He didn't greet us when we arrived, initially told us that we didn't have a booking (which after a 4-hour drive was alarming!) before realising it was a mix up with the spelling of our surname and overall he seemed...
