Unusual location - out on a limb but worth the scenic drive. Excellent staff & food. Views are wonderful, if you're lucky you can see seals and dolphins. More people need to visit or this little gem will disappear. Thoughtful for my Gluten Free requirements.

It was a working lighthouse with some out buildings, it's still the same "shell" but now a hotel. It's likely to be windy, as you are perched on the edge of the Irish Sea, You do travel over farm roads to get there. The decor is a bit dated and the public areas are a bit small, but their size...

My wife and I were met by the dragon too and were ushered into some sort of anteroom. It was comfortable enough but not the sort of room that you would normally eat - there was a low table and a soft couch - it felt a bit like we had been put in quarantine. We had asked to see...

Quirky place to stay. Food and service very good but not luxury. Bedroom was looking a little shabby and need to do something about the flies in the dining room. Despite that, my partner and I would return, mainly due to the uniqueness of the location.

We had heard that this hotel was worth a visit, its rated number 1 in the area on this site and the locals said it was worth a visit? The road to the hotel is in a bad state, watch your car does not bottom out on the way there, We were met by the lovely dragon on reception who...

A real thrill to stay in such an interesting and quirky hotel. Staff were brilliant, food was a real treat. Fabulous photo opportunities. Great gardens to visit in the area. Best to book direct with hotel reception to benefit from special deals.

We had our wedding here on 23rd July this year. We booked three suites , these are around the hotel so we had to walk to the hotel restaurant in the evening. We got married In our suite, the North Channel suite. It was very clean and tidy, but to be honest it would benefit from updating. The other suites...

Fabulous location, lovely suite with sea view. Very welcoming and wonderful small restaurant. Need to negotiate single track road to get there but we found it worth it - unrivalled sea views and cosy accommodation. Suitably fitting for special anniversary

On a week away we visited the lighthouse on a cloudy dull day , don't let the weather put you off the views are amazing as is the welcome we received at the lighthouse . My daughter was unsure about the steps in the lighthouse and the gentleman let her look first before paying to go up . She made...

My family and I returned to the lighthouse for new year. We literally rebooked for this year the minute we got home. The lighthouse is so relaxing and peaceful. The restraunt is very good and is included in the price. The setting is charming, cosy and gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. The food is excellent, great portion size and...
