Just back from a couple of days at the Harbour Lights and I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Friendly owners, nicely decorated and well maintained rooms, cracking breakfast and then, as if that wasn't enough, they have a jam maker in the house!! You can buy (voluntary contributions) jars to take away....brilliant. Good parking opposite and handily...

We stayed here for 2 nights on a family history research trip. We chose it based on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Great location with free safe parking, warm welcome, clean , safe and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. No need to look elsewhere for a central Stranraer stay.

Just back from another great stay at Harbour Lights, we stay at this guest house a few times a year while visiting family in Stranraer, and we are always greeted with a warm welcome, we usually stay in room 4, which is very nice, clean and has great views over the water front, this time we arrived on Easter sunday...

We chose this B&B for a 3 day Easter break on the basis of the Tripadvisor ratings we looked at and can only report that the plaudits are well justified. Our hosts seem to have thought of everything possible to make their accommodation, and our stay, perfect.I doubt it would be possible to get a better choice of breakfast with...

Absolutely fantastic place at a decent price. We booked in at the last minute as our booking at another guest house fell through and were very pleased with the large upstairs room we were given. The breakfast was wonderful and the hosts very very kind and helpful. The room was nicely appointed and had all sorts of extras that made...

We had one night at Harbour Lights Guest House on the night of Monday 24 March, and from the welcome received by Colin and Rhona when we arrived to our departure next morning we could not fault a thing. We would not hesitate to stay at Harbour Lights again if we were in Stranraer. Even although we were on the...

We had the pleasure of staying in this guest house for one night only. Service was faultless as was the room, the owners Colin and Rhona, and the breakfast - which was quite a feast. Would not hesitate to go back again and would be my first choice if needing to stay in Stranraer.

My first time in a guest house for years, I normally opt for 4 star hotels. However what a treat the Harbour Lights was, this guest house would give a lot of 4 star hotels a run for there money. Loads of extra treats in the rooms including biscuits, water and chocolates. The owners have thought of everything. Room was...

Brilliant place to stay. Very welcoming and they can't do enough to make you feel welcome - hence the emphasis on the "Guest" part. Lovely room, lovely view out over the harbour and great breakfast. Clean and cozy feel throughout. Really handy location and would stay here again quite happily. Recommend to anyone coming to the area.
