We called by the hotel when the rain was pouring down and we were warmly welcomed and helped to dry off. We stayed for most of the afternoon and had great coffees and chatted with the staff, who gave helpful tourist advice on local attractions. We stayed into the evening and had some nice local beer and had a great... More

Visited here for a meal while staying at a local campsite duing the Whit Week school holidays. We visited on the last night of our trip and wish we had visited first night as we would have been back to enjoy the local food. A family of four - the menu catered for all tastes. Adults went for local seafood... More

The rooms were immaculate with a named tartan for each. The food was excellent with the locally caught sea food exceptional. The scenery is spectacular all around the hotel and the beaches with the silver sand have to be seen to be believed. At the end of our stay I asked if I could order a taxi to take us... More

Had dinner at Cnoc-na-faire last night - 3 May 2011 - with friends. The food and service was excellent. The potato and smoked haddock cake with puy lentils was first class. The main of sea bass was executed to a high standard - the fish being perfectly cooked with a subtle white wine sauce. The scottish brie to finish with... More

We wanted a quick fix of white beach, exquisite sunset and some pampering, good food , comfy beds etc. The Cnoc na Faire does its best on all counts. Our room was very tastefully decorated, lovely beds and quite recently updated, I'd say - loved the heated mirror in the bathroom! The views over the islands are quite stunning, although... More

Cnoc-na-Faire does not disappoint. It was every bit as good as I had anticipated from my initial visit to their website when looking for accommodation in the local area, my booking enquiry and the booking transaction. There was a great atmosphere in the bar when we arrived (which turned out to be a celebration of calf having been born in... More

Stayed here with some friends who had travelled from abroad and wanted to see some of Scotland. The rooms were immaculate and full of really nice touches, copy of the Broons and a DVD of Local Hero in the room! A perfect introduction to Scottish culture for my friends. Staff were very good and helped us with trips and generally... More

This review is about a meal we had at Cnoc-na-Faire though the lady who served us very kindly showed us round the entire hotel so can tell you what I saw. This is one of the very few hotel/restaurants in Arisaig that is open year-round. It's not huge but is 'perfectly formed' and of a very high standard throughout. I... More

This hotel, placed in the middle of the Scottish highlands, with its stunning scenery, is a total gem. With just six rooms, there is a strong personal touch and each room is stunningly furnished, clean, modern and comfortable. It was the sort of hotel that you couldn't wait to get back to your room. The owners are professional, welcoming and... More
