The castle has beautiful interior design and wonderful staff at the reception. My husband and I stayed there for two nights. The location is great as it is in the center of all kinds of activities (sightseeing in Inverness, hiking in Loch Nice etc.) Dinner was served in the well-decorated dining room of the castle. Though the food was not...

On the recommendation of friends we have just stayed at Glengarry Castle Hotel for two nights and it lived up to the recommendation. The situation is lovely, overlooking a loch and the extensive grounds are attractive. The management and staff are attentive and helpful. There is an attractive lounge and a library to sit in on the ground floor. Breakfast is...

Just what we needed to restore our faith after being really let down in Fort William. Very friendly, family atmosphere and very clean rooms, up to date but traditional bathrooms. On top of that, a very good evening meal, followed by a loch-side stroll, beautiful! All for £165 per night, great value and the best night's sleep I've had away...

Very nice accommodations. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good and the room was large, clean, and romantically decorated. The surrounding property is a real draw. We had a nice hike through the forest along the loch to the old castle ruins, a sunken sailboat, and a king's chair near the water. As other reviewers have mentioned,...

The final night of our Scottish trip. Beautiful setting, excellent service. The food was ok, not the best we had but not bad either. The rooms were huge and well maintained but rather old fashioned - I know I was in a castle but it could have been so much more exciting. The pillows were flat and hard and the...

We, two adults just stayed there in June 2013 and the property is beautiful. You feel set back in time. We had a beautiful room with a large bathroom. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was ample and delectable. One minus point, the bedding was very old and although clean, the blanket smelled a bit. They do need...

We were taking Hungarian visitors a tour of Scotland and they wanted to stay in a Scottish Castle so where better than Glengarry Castle Hotel. They were not disappointed and were delighted that we chose to stay here. It was a pity we could only manage one night as our programme was quite tight. The dining room was a bit...

This great castle hotel is amazing. Beautiful house, great location, nice grounds and very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant experience was good value, but could do with a minor upgrade in order to become truly amazing.

A lovely guesthouse with beautiful spacious rooms and large bathrooms. For a few days we felt like a noble family living the good life. The grounds are stunning and serene. Beautiful drawing room for drinks and playing piano. Our dining waitress (Lydia) was just lovely and very attentive. Food was excellent, both at breakfast the dinner. My husband's parents had...

This was an amazing place to stay. We walked all around the grounds and played tennis- they provided equipment. We had a great room facing the lake and it was just beautiful! The kids had their own room next door with 3 single beds which worked perfectly. We did the meal plan (breakfast and dinner) for al 5 of us...
