Harbor Town is a posh, quiet area just outside central Memphis only a few minutes from the Arkansas state line (which we crossed just so we could say we had been!). The houses around here are lovely and look quite expensive, and the town square has a few upmarket shops and a hairdresser. The hotel is very nice (and not...

We spent a week at River Inn and were delighted with everything from the hotel room (the penthouse), the Terrace Bar for cocktails, the piano player, the glass of wine on arrival, the port/chocolates on bed turn down each night, the view towards the river and overall with the service received (some staff shone particularly but all were very nice)....

We chose this hotel after reading good reviews on both Booking.com and Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. We had emailed ahead asking if they were able to store our luggage as we would be arriving in Memphis before lunch, they responded promptly that they would be happy to assist. We arrived at 11am and. although our room would not...

The River Inn hotel is on a strip of land somewhat surrounded by water and the Mississippi River is right across the street. It is a very up market area for housing and restaurants. It is listed as a AAA Diamond luxury Boutique Hotel. Let me say first that the River Inn is well appointed both in their restaurant and...

I booked the hotel for my boyfriend's birthday. The ambiance was so intimate and wonderful. We stayed in the Admiral's Suite which is so beautiful. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast at Paulette's was absolutely delicious. What was also wonderful was just walking around the area the hotel was located. I think the sweetest moment was on the...

My wife and I stayed here in mid-October. This is a fantastic Inn. Great rooms. Quiet location but easy access to all the sites of Memphis. With two eating establishments near by, you have the choice of 5 star dining or southern flare. Would not stay any where else in Memphis.

Tall slim fellow who is a musician was the desk staff member and suggested many things and sights. Sorry I can remember his name though I bout his CD from him and it's good . They have arranged a...

Fabulous meals in the Paulette Dining Room. We have been travelling around the States for five weeks, staying in 18 different hotels, and this left the rest at the starting post. Lovely extra touches, like port and chocolates included in the tun down service. Most helpful on the desk also. Highly recommended.

It's a lovely characterful hotel only short drive away from the centre of Memphis. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the rooms was traditionally styled, but great quality (lovely bed, good shower and bath etc.) The hotel has free access to a nearby gym which is really good if you need to exercise. The food (served in one of three restaurants...
