We call in for Sunday lunch last Sunday 23/10/16...What a disappointment ...We had just about a spoonful of assorted veg....but the beef was something else...Almost raw..I think that if it had been a little warmer it might have got up from the plate to speak to us..My tip don't go for Sunday lunch.Don't think we will be calling in again...

Hi Verinajohn I'm very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your Sunday lunch. It is unfortunate that these issues were not brought to our attention during your visit as they could have been very easily rectified. I will ensure your comments are passed onto our kitchen team and we hope to see you again Kind regards Kate

I stated here after a long drive from work. The staff were really nice and were extremely helpful and eager to welcome you. I also needed a meal and the selection was pretty good and the quality was good in the bar downstairs. The room had a wonderful view of the harbour and was functional. It was a bit cold...

Had room 7 which is above the pub - so could hear the beat of music until the pub close and then woken again before 7am. Was then presented with the worst excuse of a breakfast I have ever seen. All that was on offer was a couple of cereal boxes on the side and a bowl of fruit. As...

Pleasant pub with rooms above. Room was fine, no frills but clean and spacious. Only 1 window looking onto a side street so room was a little bit warm. Dined in the pub downstairs, very good service, food quite good and lots of gluten free options, great stuff. Good location, worth a visit.

Ordered Steaks to our liking. Food took an hour and 10 minutes to arrive. Steaks were cooked totally wrong, Fries were burnt and were actually black I had asked for no tomato but still got one. Not once did anyone ask if food was OK. Just before leaving I filled in a customer satisfaction form. 2 days later to be...

We ate here on holiday recently and the pub is situated in the centre of town with views of the harbour at the rear. The food was lovely, but the only let down was the wait. We were informed on arrival that there would be a 45 minute wait for the food. However, the pub was not that busy on...
