Midweek stopover with friends who had wanted to visit this iconic harbour side hotel. We stayed in the cottage, which is a stones throw from the bar. Very welcoming service in the bar before we checked in to the quaint, yet modern cottage. Lovely dinner...More
A family visit to our usual favorite local place to eat out in Aberaeron left a bitter taste after my wife and i found plastic packaging in the fish mains. We raised concerns at our surprise and were unimpressed with the offer complimentary coffees. Sadly...More
This is probably our most favourite place anywhere, out of ten nights in our recent trip to Aberaeron we must have been in here at least 7 times, mostly for food.
Staff are just excellent, the food is to die for, the drinks are superb...More

We stayed in the Madona suite (in the rafters). We had a great view of the harbour from the harbourmaster's window (he used to sit here to view incoming and outgoing vessels). There is a comfy chaise-longue so you can lay back and watch the changing scenery of the harbour. There is another sea-view window at the side, in the bedroom. From here you can relax in bed with a view of the sea below. Very luxurious room with character. Would highly recommend.

"All original rooms 7 in total face the harbour. Cadwgan is quiet as it was on the 2nd for."
