We found the Harbourmaster Hotel by chance. How lucky, we wanted a room over looking the harbour entrance and we got one. It was comfortable and warm. Modern accents in an old building, very well put together.

Lovely place, Aberaeron. Harbour master hotel. I've wanted to go there, because of the place and the reviews. We were going to book a 2 night db&b , I'm so glad I didn't. That would have cost me over GBP 500!! Today, we had a...More

We stayed in the Madona suite (in the rafters). We had a great view of the harbour from the harbourmaster's window (he used to sit here to view incoming and outgoing vessels). There is a comfy chaise-longue so you can lay back and watch the changing scenery of the harbour. There is another sea-view window at the side, in the bedroom. From here you can relax in bed with a view of the sea below. Very luxurious room with character. Would highly recommend.
