Very nice setting and lovely building. Helpful obliging staff. Very welcoming. My son had eggy bread, maple syrup with Penlan bacon. He said it was so lovely. I had Welsh rarebit which was also very nice. The other 3 in our party had the Welsh breakfast that consisted of Penlan bacon, pork sausages, black pudding, fried egg, tomatoes, laver bread, mushrooms...

A fantastic hotel with very friendly, professional staff with excellent rooms and delicious food. A great spot on the harbour side and a very friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be going back there. The bedroom was individually decorated with a very comfortable king size bed and a great view over the harbour. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and all...

Went for two days just before Easter, beautiful spot. We walked the six miles to New Quay along the coastal walk - stunning, lots of different aspects/eco systems. Room and facilities in cottage great, wonderful views over harbour. We ate both nights in bar as we liked it so much the first night- lively and relaxed atmosphere and seemed to...

Lovely views and atmosphere but starter choices were oysters or sweet potato soup, sorry I could have had cheese on gluten free bread, main course was worse sea food risotto, ham egg chips, burger in gluten free bread or sea bass with curried potatoes, (my fault I don't like beef). I chose the risotto which was so salty I could...

We thought this was an object lesson in how a boutique hotel should be: great setting, a warm welcome, beautifully designed room - and downstairs a buzzy bar and a good restaurant. We liked Aberaeron (even though the weather was unhelpful) and then had a really enjoyable evening in the Harbourmaster. Attention is obviously paid to the food and drink....

We had a lovely stay in the Albion room situated in the cottage next door. The bedroom is a good size and the bathroom is beautiful. We were luckily enough to have the cottage to ourselves which was lovely. Staff were super attentive, not that we needed anything that wasn't already there! Would 100% recommend.

Absolutely stunning hotel with polite, friendly and professional staff. We stayed in the Albion room situated in the well presented cottage next door to the main hotel. Finished to the highest standard our room overlooked the harbour. A huge bathroom with double ended bath and separate shower stocked with quality toiletries. We were lucky as the weather was kind and...
