We had a one night break at the beginning of May and chose Harlech. We didn't partake of any of the surroundings unfortunately, as it was just a stop-off. However, the guest house we stayed in was charming, staff very attentive, rooms were clean, and the restaurant food and wine was superb. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning...

We stayed here on golf trip - and the hotel was a very good base. The hotel was very flexible and obliging in meeting our needs - e.g. early breakfast some days and later dinner on others. Food in the restaurant was good, nicely cooked and tasty. Excellent breakfast! Bar was well staffed with a good range of beers, including...

We stayed as a golfing party of 10 for 4 nights and had the whole hotel to ourselves. The location is excellent, being opposite Royal St Davids Golf Club. The hotel parking is excellent and convenient. As the organiser I was greeted by Joanne on arrival and received a very helpful briefing on the various dining options in Harlech. In fact...

With some variable reviews, I wasn't expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the charming landlady who showed me a perfectly nice room. Sadly it was downhill from there. There was a cloying smell of nasty air freshener, I found the offending item and threw it in the wardrobe so I could breathe. Next shock was...

Our one night stay here was so convenient. Easy parking on site, friendly pub to relax, delicious dinners in the restaurant, large clean rooms to retire to, good breakfasts to wake up to, friendly people to encounter, and good prices as well. One stop shopping!

We were made to feel very welcome. Evening meal and breakfast were both good and we slept well. The proprietors were accommodating towards food preferences. We had a very pleasant potter around Harlech the next day. Lovely.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Willing to do early breakfast and cater for food intolerances. Room was clean, comfy and breakfast excellent standard with local meat. TV was a bit small and free wifi patchy.

Called in for an evening meal, we've eaten here before and know the food is good. Only 4 of us in the bar and 6 in the restaurant but they could not accommodate us for an evening meal. Couldn't even make us a sandwich or a bowl of soup. Moral of the story......book ahead and don't bother coming out of...

Good parking. Good choice of breakfast menu. Evening meal wa good although not a very good selection on the menu if you're not keen on fishy things. Had a vegetable crumble in the end which was o.k. It was all served to a high standard. Room clean and staff helpful and efficient. It might be cheaper to book online rather...
