We had never visited Harlech before and booked on the basis of previous reviews. Bridget and Derek are wonderful hosts. Both entertaining and charming. Maelgwyn is very close to the castle and town centre. ( less than five minutes) We had a fabulous sea view and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best I have...

We booked this B&B even though it was slightly out of our budget because it was rated so highly anywhere we looked. We were not disappointed. The room had the most beautiful view - right over the dunes and beach, over the sea to the next coastline. If you turn a little, you can see Harlech Castle to the right....

We had stayed with Bridget and Derek in May 2016 and enjoyed it so much that we returned in October 2016. We stayed in room 1 with panoramic views of Harlech beach and the castle. It was, once again, a wonderful stay. Delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts. Perfect to get away and recharge.

Recommend staying here. Hospitality owners. Nice breakfast spread. Walkable into Harlech town (book the carribean restaurant - well worth a visit) ams 15 mins to the beach. Lots of sanddunes - but a lovely long Beach. Beautiful. Also we drove 35 minutes to Snowden and climbed it - top tip here is £10 worth of change for car park machines!!!!

We had such a lovely stay here at Maelgwyn House. We came for a festival but went for a B&B option after camping on our previous visit and swearing never again. The room was so cosy and clean, and Derek and Bridget were such wonderful hosts. They were so friendly and obliging, and very tolerant and amused by our festival...

This lovely B&B was the best we've ever visited. It was superb from every point of view - cleanliness, décor, quality of food and overlooking the sea. No expense seems to have been spared to make visitors' stay a comfortable and enjoyable one and the hosts are welcoming and accommodating. We would recommend this B&B unreservedly - it more than...
