I was really looking forward to birthday meal but it was a disappointment and not up to michelin star standard. The waiting staff were unable to explain some of the items on the menu and if they could explain gave the impression they thought it very burdensome to have to do so. The starter and main course were lacking in... More

The room was lovely and I was a little worried as the website had said there was no phone coverage which there often isn’t in Wales but it does have good internet Wi-Fi so you can always get email so you don’t have to feel so out of touch. There was enough drawer space which was good often there is... More

Stayed in this fantastic hotel with friends for one night. We stayed in the garden suite which was huge compared to other rooms I have stayed in. It was spotlessly clean with an awesome wet room. It was decorated beautifully. Great tea and coffee tray. The suite led out to private garden. Dinner was also first class. We had Canapés... More

My partner was 60 this week & a bit beyond sky diving or trampolining so something more genteel was called for. I opted for the autumn deal of the tasting menu, overnight accommodation & breakfast. We had a terrific time, I decided on the standard room which was lovely, comfy bed, great shower & many extras. We had tea &... More

We had a wonderful evening at Tyddyn Llan, we enjoyed a six course taster menu accompanied with wines for each course. On arrival we were greeted by our hostess and staff for the evening and were made very welcome. The dishes served on the evening are from the new cook book of chef proprietor Bryan Webb. I must say the... More

We visited here at the beginning of September for a birthday treat. We stayed overnight as part of a deal, the rooms are lovely with nice extra touches, home made biscotti and if you ring down they will bring up fresh milk or cream for your coffee/tea. The bed was probably the highest bed I've ever slept on but very... More

My wife and I dine here about twice a year, mainly on special occasions, and have done for about 5 years. I therefore think we are fairly well qualified to assess standards. We last dined there on 17 September and having looked forward to it all day we drove home feeling quite disappointed. The canapes and menu hadn't really changed,... More

Probably the best restaurant I have experienced. Wonderful food, comfortable surroundings and cheerful, helpful staff. Coffee served in the pretty garden finished the meal making it a very special occasion. I particularly loved the lava bread tartlets and beautifully cooked hake.

This is a restaurant with rooms. The property is set in pretty grounds and the rooms are light and airy. Our bedroom was well decorated, comfy bed with beautiful linen. The bathroom was modern but did not have a separate shower, it was over the bath. Dinner is a very grown up affair, not for children. Drinks and canapés in... More

This luxuriously quaint guest house lacks pretence and above all else makes you feel warm inside, like visiting someone's home; and those somebody's happen to be excellent hosts and food lovers. The room we stayed in was lovely; immaculate and excellently maintained and the bath robes and slippers were a nice touch. The bed was comfy and the bouquet arranged... More
