As soon as we checked in to Tyddyn Llan , we were met with wonderfully warm and friendly staff , and felt immediately welcome and rested. Our room was upgraded as was a little quieter and was beautiful, clean and very welcoming. It is very rare to find a place where as soon as you check in you feel this...

This very attractive restaurant with rooms is a little gem, nesling in the beautiful Welsh hills. The accommodation is superb and the food and service are second to none. We visited this week and enjoyed the delicious tasting menu complimented by a very comfortable night's stay and a superb breakfast. Lovely place and lovely staff, we will certainly be back.

Very warm welcome and such a lovely place. Rooms are pretty old style but cute in that sense and very clean with nice bathroom. The dinner was excellent (definitely try the lamb) and their bread is home made - which is a plus for a French person like me:) There are some walks to do around not far at all...

My wife and I arrived for lunch on Saturday (Easter W/End) to a warm welcome, several larger parties had already arrived some with young children (well behaved I may add !). We both ordered the Langoustine to start ,my wife ordered the rack of spring lamb and I the duck breast. The Langoustine was well presented with a balance of...

We are baffled how Tyddyn Llan’s bedrooms can be described on its website as “luxury”. One “best” room, for instance, offers a tiny bathtub with a hand shower with such weak flow it’d be impossible to rinse your hair. Another “best” room has a cracked sink and damaged bathtub and other rooms such old sanitary ware that flushing loos is...

having just read the two recent reviews all I can say that we really enjoyed last evenings tasting menu. We live in the Vale of Clwyd nearby and regularly make the effort to travel around the North West to eat in high end restaurants. We had great service and consider it to be exceptional value,.... As always!! Thank you

We went on an overnight 'date' on a rainy evening. First glimpse was like a country house (which it is) with open fire and comfortable lounges. Room was as expected, not hotel luxury but a comfortable bed and bathroom, but you need to run around in the shower to get wet! As a Michelin Star restaurant we had booked in...

This restaurant has had a Michelin star for several years and this, together with the excellent (well deserved) reviews of the food say everything about the quality of what is served. What should be highlighted though, is the amazing service that guests receive. The front of house and waiting-on staff cannot be faulted and are a credit to the proprietors....
