Had an amazing weekend here! The pitch sizes are excellent and the showers are the nicest I've seen at a campsite. The toilets were lovely and clean too! The site it’s self was wonderful and friendly and we met some brilliant ppl. The pub was nice and good prices for a few beers you can take dogs in on the tiled area which is massive! You got your own water tap on the pitch which is great and the best bit is the beach right on top of you there is a gate for direct access! The dog loved it and us ha! Lots of food options close by as well.

This campsite has everything you need from, electric, water hook up to each pitch, toilets and showers generally clean and tidy, although the staff need to do regular check I think to replenish the toilet rolled & soap. The site could do a lot more regarding serving food / restaurant and a small convenience shop let’s face it they have the space and the building to do so, before it get worse and unrepairable which will cost more to do.

We had a lovely time at Ffrith beach camp site. Pitches were all tidy and well manned. The shower rooms were clean. The bowling was an added bonus and we enjoyed the bar area. The food place was never open while we were there which is a shame as I think it would have been well used by guests. The park could do with a little shop on too which would go down well. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach too. The downfall is that the gates get locked in the evening and they aren’t manned very well. We had to call an ambulance for our 12 week old baby as he was choking and the ambulance couldn’t get into the park. This really needs to be addressed as the situation could have spiralled very easily. We understand that gates need to be locked for security reasons but there definitely needs to be some sort of emergency access onto the site. I think with a bit more work and the gate issue being addressed, this could be regular spot for us.

Very noisy even acter 11. Many people outside late drinking swearing etc and caravans very close together. Toilets and showerocks clean but soap dispensers constantly empty. Good location for beach. Access from park.

I’m still here at the moment, suffering from lack of sleep. So, 11 o’clock at night, some kids think it’s hilarious to throw bang snaps around the campsite just in case the families with little kids are trying to sleep, don’t worry though, you failed! Some ignorant people (a lot of them) like to not empty their poo containers and water containers at a sensible time of day like 7pm, no, they like to drag them through the whole site at 11pm having full on conversations without a care in the world. Also, we have just come back from a Haven site (which I gave 5 stars for, I’m not always miserable!) and barely saw a seagull. Here, they are constant, and like to wake you early (like 5am!) The staff are nice, the pitches are ok, but don’t come here and expect to be sleeping

We have been nearly every year since they first opened and it has gone from strength to strength over the years, the owner has spent alot of money extending the park and I can see there is alot more to come! We are very picky at where we stay, I have OCD so everything has to be clean and tidy and Ffrith never disappoints! The staff there work their socks off, always about emptying the bins and cleaning the shower/toilet blocks, which are always immaculate every morning! They're always about if you have any issues! All very friendly and approachable! There is also a beautiful, quiet beach on the doorstep, bowling, cafe and a bar now too, all dog friendly which was a massive bonus for us as we never leave the dog in the van on his own! Also a pub and lovely chippy across the road and loads of places to visit nearby. We highly recommend this park!

What a dump, don't waste your money, there is no food available there and they still advertise it as there is , the children's park if that's what you want to call appalling. Sat in the bar the first day live maggots falling from the ceiling onto myself and table, the bowling is very expensive. Everyone we spoke to only had one good thing to say about the place and that was the shower blocks were nice. We left early couldn't bear another night there.

Such a friendly place and great staff. Maj the manager was so helpful and such a lovely chap to talk to. There are some new additions coming to the park so don't right it off as the main building does look a little tired. The pitches are big and the beach is a 5 mimuite walk with direct gate access from the site. There's a club house with a bar, bowling, pool, air hockey etc. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay

Well kept site next to beach with easy access New toilets and shower block very nice. Flat site ,when I was here no restaurant of any kind open. Great for cycling to Rhyl or Prestatyn on sea front .. Beaches dog friendly.. 45 min walk to Rhyl 30 to Prestatyn Town all flat. Building works going on at moment on a section of site, lorries were in out on occasions. Bowling alley, pool , sport on TV all times, in bar area, When we visited no sign to show you were there just a bowling sign need to be sorted. Don't seem to like freestanding or driveway awnings,? To be honest not a bad site but think it could be a great site .

Wasn't sure what to expect with this stay. Not been to the area for a few years. The site is nice and flat. Good facilities. Well laid out and easy access to the beach. Had such a good time we tried to book an extra night but it was fully booked
