Very nice hotel. We had booked 6 nights so glad of the location. It’s right on the beach and you can either sea view or inland. There are also chalets just over the quiet road. We arrived about 20 mins before check in but decided to see if our room was ready. Which it was but the very nice lady decided to give us a different room which she says was nicer. It did not let us down, it was spacious and clean. Looked like it had been refurbished recently and it had a bay window do we had a view of all the beach. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of room in the bathroom. They also provided shampoo and body wash. There wasn’t room service so if you wanted your towels changing you just popped them outside your door. If you wanted more teabags milk etc you just asked at reception. The food was very nice we had breakfast everyday which was included in the price . Had a choice and was served at the table. There was plenty and staff would alter the menu to your choice. The meals at dinner again was plentiful I couldn’t eat all of it. The staff was friendly it did say table service outside but we ended going in to order our drinks. If you wanted to eat out you had a walk into Prestatyn itself which was 10/20 min walk depending on speed of your walk. You could walk down the promenade or down the streets. If you walked out of the hotel on the beachside turned right you could walk on the dunes to the side of Prestatyn golf course 5 minutes walk. The course itself was a 2 minutes drive away and you can see the hotel from the course 4 hole is very near the hotel. Reception lady actually rang the course to arrange a tee time the next day after we arrived. We would definitely return to the hotel if we visited north wales again.

Had a one night stay here for a family party. Party room was lovely and buffet superb plus couldn’t fault the staff. We stayed in a sea view room. It was fairly basic but clean. Overall we found it to be quite a charming little hotel but I can’t see it ever getting the 4 stars it is apparently aiming for!

Located in North Wales Prestatyn, this wonderful hotel is a really pleasant surprise. It's a sole hotel on this beach. Located next to the beach, it's a perfect way to enjoy a staycation and/or holiday. The booking with Joanna was simple and efficient. Very helpful. As were the other staff at the hotel - nothing was too much bother. Plenty of parking available and it's in a nice quiet part of town. Ideal for long beach walks. The beach is clean, wide and soft sand. The hotel is clean (some updating needed and ongoing). It's a cosy place. The breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold options including vegan/vegetarian dishes. Afternoon and Evening meals can also be had at the hotel. The pool is an ideal size, and has a steam and sauna room - all perfect for small groups. They had a booking system during this period, so it was as if we had a private pool to ourselves. The hotel is also perfect for a visit to the town centre, which offers all the main brands and many little eateries - Bangladeshi Tandoori, Italian, Modern cafe and coffee shops, Mexican, and Pizza takeways. The high street is close to a retail park so let the ladies shop and the gents can relax with a pint, coffee et al. It really is a lovely, welcoming and cosy hotel with competitive pricing.
