I have numerous business meetings at St David’s and always superbly looked after by Heather. She runs the best bar and restaurant in the whole group having visited many across the country. Heather makes the whole experience at St David’s worth the visit. Thank you Heather awesome work keep it up.

This hotel is in need of redecorating and refurbishment as it is looking 'tired' with paint peeling and chipping. Bedside lights not working. Lampshade looked like it had been punched so needed replacing. Bed was clean and comfortable though.

Our first stay at St David's on a Friday night . Left Saturday morning and we enjoyed it so much we went back for a drink on Sunday evening. Everyone at the hotel was amazing. So friendly and polite. The bar and grill has the best atmosphere. We only had drinks but will return very soon to eat. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

We stayed as a family and are big fans of village hotels in general. This is one of the more tired ones, but the room was great and so were the staff in general, particularly on the leisure side. We paid extra for breakfast and were unfortunate that we had quite a rude lady serving us (we seemed to be singled out for the rude treatment for some unknown reason). Apart from this, the breakfast wasn't great with a limited selection and only 'scrambled' eggs. I'm actually not sure what it was, but it was tepid yellowy slop which was inedible even to someone who will eat virtually anything. I can only presume it was made out of some sort of powdered egg. Save your money and find somewhere else for breakfast and this hotel is perfectly acceptable.

We only had one night in the hotel, met by Chloe at reception who was very pleasant and helpful. Room was basic but fine for an overnight stay. We had our evening meal in the grill which was ok. My hubby used the gym the following morning which he enjoyed.

Stayed for 1 night on a weekend the rate of the room was the cheapest around. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. My room was ready a lot earlier than check in time so I was able to change. I would say the room needed a revamp but was clean and tidy.

Overall nice hotel but the room, while nicely designed was fairly rundown with chipped furniture and paint and a general tired feeling. Didn't feel close to upmarket. It also felt like it needed a deep clean, there were cobwebs inside the lamp and the carpet was dirty. As I'd booked the room as a surprise, it was a bit of a letdown and I had to apologise to my partner for the quality of it. As there's a premium charged over something very nearby like the Holiday Inn or Travelodge, you'd expect a more hotel feel rather than the very cost cutting impression the room gave. Hopefully they make some changes and update things soon.

First time visiting the hotel for my partners birthday weekend. June who works at the hotel was very welcoming and made out 3 year daughter feel very special with some sweeties in the room and complimentary drinks for us.
